View Full Version : Ladies, Do You Sometimes Wear Men's Cologne?

I don't want to sound like a tool, but am I the only gal that likes men's colognes? I do wear women's perfumes (some of them), but often times I find them way too flowery and/or sweet ... or just plain putrid. I tend to lean toward the fresh/clean/crisp scents of the men's colognes (like Cool Water, Eternity, Curve, etc.) and the unisex fragrances (like CK Be, CK One, Blvgari Green Tea/Eau de Vert, etc.). About the only women's perfumes I like (that don't make me gag) are Cool Water, Esacpe, Eternity and Kenneth Cole Reaction).

Anyone else?...

I wear ladie's perfumes, but only the ones that don't have that 'too-sweet-flowery' scent. I like my scents fresh. As for deodorants...when I go to the gym I prefer my hubby's one. It just works better;)

OK, you like clean, fresh scents, too. Would you mind telling me which women's perfumes you like? Maybe I could check them out, considering that I, too, like the clean/fresh thing.

Well, I think you'll like WOMAN by BOSS. That's what I like the most. Then there were a couple by Victoria Secret...I think it was HEAVENLY and BODY by Victoria. Hope that helps.

Oh, yeah! I forgot about Heavenly (the Dream Angels line) by Victoria Secret. That one does smell nice. Thanks for the other suggestions. Will check 'em out. BTW, reps. :)

Wow, so now all those times I compliment you ladies on your wonderful scent, now I have to think that some of those were guys colonges (sp)?

If you like men's cologne you should try body oils. I prefer body oils because they don't contain alcohol and a little goes a long way. Some of my favorites are White Musk (also called Arabian Musk) and Egyptian Musk. I get most of my body oils from Muslim shops (they sell oils, soaps, and candles).

I can't stand the flowery sweet stuff, or if it's real strong I don't like it either. Yeah, I've worn men's in the past. But recently I went to the perfume counter and told the lady I wanted something that was just clean and fresh smelling, mellow and not musky or sweet. She showed me two, and I bought both of them! lol

"Shi" made by Alfred Sung - the sales lady told me she gets a lot of people like nurses, lawyers and those who deal with a lot of people on a daily basis buy this one since it's subtle, but very long lasting.

The other one is Tommy Girl 10, and my hubby goes bonkers for it!

I hate most women's perfume but try Ralph Lauren Blue. That's one I've used for a while and it's clean and crisp enough for me.

I also wear men's deodorant, but my husband wears womens because he thinks it smells better. I think it's hilarious- plus it's good ammunition any time I want to pick on him.
