NOS ETHER
GUARANTEED RAPID STRENGTH AND POWER GAINS

The #1 selling Kre-Alkalyn Creatine product at several online retailers in 2005 has returned and is stronger than ever! Users of the original NOS ETHER powder were increasing their bench, squat and deadlift 30 to 50+ lbs. during the first month of use with "out-of-this-world" pumps and rapid lean muscle mass gains! This is the exact same formula sold in 2005 with 2X the creatine and 50% more D-Ribose for even more powerful results.

First off, I would like to thank Chuck and Get Diesel Nutrition for picking me to log this product. I very rarely apply to test products because I feel as though I have a very solid "base stack" that has given me great results.

With that said, the original ETHER had results and feedback that were as good, if not better than any other similar product out there and I jumped at the chance to apply for this.

About Me:
I am 27 years old. I am a former college football player who quit lifting for several years after my playing days were over. I am now back into the game and appreciate lifting like I never did before.

Because it has been discussed that this is a great supplement for pure power gains, I am listing my Max lifts and Max 5 rep lifts. We'll see where we end up when this is all over.

Max Bench: 285
Max Squat: 345
Max Deadlift: 385

Max 5 rep bench: 5x235
Max 5 rep ATG squat: 5x280
Max 5 rep dead: 5x330

Workout Routine:
I use a slightly modified version of the 12 week plan put together by Lee Hayward. This workout can be found at www.leehayward.com. It is basically 4 three week routines that I constantly cycle. I have found that the varying types of lifts and constant change has kept me from hitting any real plateus. Also, I am able to look back at what I did 9 weeks ago and aim to better those the next time around.

I do cardio 2-3 times a week. Usually a 2 mile run or some time on the stairstepper. I do it when I can fit it in and my legs aren't killing me from squats.

I understand what you are saying, but it also says that on non-workout days to take it before the 1st and 2nd meals of the day. I suppose I could have taken it with my 3rd and 4th meal.......either way, I'll have it started tomorrow.

Day 1 - Dose 1 - Reverse Load

The breakdown:

Just finished my first of what will be two NOS ETHER drinks today. In the reverse load phase, on a non-workout day you take 1 scoop before each of your first two meals.

Taste: 8.5/10

I don't drink supps for the taste, but I do know this is a major concern for some. NOS ETHER has virtually no taste. Oddly enough, nowhere on the package does it say exactly how much water to mix each serving with. I put one scoop with 8 ounces of water, and it was basically flavorless. It says it is lemonade flavor, so on the next one, I'll mix it with about 5-6 ounces and see if it brings out the flavor. Also, there is really no smell at all.

Mixability: 10/10

I have taken a lot of supps, but this is THE FIRST that I have ever taken that mixed 100%. When I finished the drink, there was none of it sitting at the botom of the shaker like you typically see. Sometimes with this sort of product, it is a bit "grittty" when you drink it, but not this product. Solid work here by Get Diesel Nutrition.

So Now What?
Today is an off-day. I may do Cardio later, but that is still up in the air (leg presses killed me yesterday).

blueboy22
07-14-2007, 01:13 PM
Day 1 Dose 2 - Reverse Load

The breakdown:

Took the second serving of NOS ETHER before my second meal. This time I mixed it in about 8 ounces of Lemon-Lime Gatorade. Tasted great. I think I may end up taking it this way post-workout throughout this log. Mixed great in Gatorade.

So Now What?
Went to Milwaukee today with the family to a Brewers event. Got to meet Brewers pitchers Brian Shouse and Yovani Gallardo. It was a nice event for the family. Now I am about to head out to the pool to swim with the kids and get a little exercise in. Will most likely do cardio tomorrow morning.

Day 2 - Dose 1 - Reverse Load

The breakdown:

Took my first serving of NOS ETHER this morning about an hour before cardio. Followed that up with Purple Wraath about 45 minutes later.

The workout:

Cardio Day. Ran a comfortably paced 2 miles in about 17 minutes. Legs felt fully recovered from the Friday workout.

So Now What?

I'll take my second serving before lunch. Talked with Chuck and I am only going to reverse load for two days. I have an upper-body day tomorrow and wanted to take the full pre and post servings tomorrow and he OK'ed this.

blueboy22

Day 2 - Dose 2 - Reverse Load

The breakdown:

Took the second serving of NOS ETHER late this morning.

Thoughts:

Just wanted to give a quick rundown of the goals that I have set for myself and this log. I am hoping to improve all three of the "big lifts".

Bench: I have been stuck at 285 for about 5 weeks now. I gave an attempt at 300 about two weeks ago and was about three inches short of locking out. I think it is more mental than anything else, so my goal is to finally hit the 300lb mark.

Squat: When I say I go ATG, i mean ATG. I am down in a catchers position in baseball when I get to the bottom of my squat. I have not went for a 1RM for squat in awhile so my goal is simple. I would like to be able to go 5x315 ATG. I am currently at 5x280.

Deadlift: I am at 380 right now. I don't use straps but have been considering it lately. It is my grip more than anything else that is keepingme from getting 400lbs. So my goal is to deadlift 400lbs without straps and if I can't get it during this log, I'll go for it with straps when I am finished with it.

6x80's
6x85's
6x90's (PR)

Seated BB Shoulder Press:
8x135
8x140
8x140
8x145
8x150

Bicep Cable curl (ez bar attachment)
10x90

10x20's

Now I am sitting here drinking down another full serving post-workout mixed with Lemon-Lime Gatorade.

Thoughts:
Had a very nice workout this morning. The DB inclines really got me off to a great start today. I have to get the kids up and eating breakfast and after that I will give my initial thoughts on this product when compared to other similar products.

Looking back at the workout today there were a few things I wanted to mention about this product while trying to leave out as much "placebo" talk as possible.

First off, the "pump" was excellent. I know this doesn't matter to some, but it does to me. It was very similar to NO Shotgun or SP250. It was definitely rate it above Animal Pump and NO-Xplode. My arms and chest were pumped after my first three sets in Bench and it only got better from there. Not to mention I still felt that way about 1 1/2 hours later.

Next, the energy. It wasn't that crazy, heart racing, jittery type of rush that you get from White Flood or SP 250. It also didn't cause a crazy spike in energy followed by a crash like NO-Xplode can cause. It was more of a sustained energy that you get from Animal Pump. The kind of "boost" that makes you feel like you can get out that extra rep on every exercise and lift for another 30 minutes even though your workout is done.

If you have any questions or comments, ask away.

Thats typical NOS ETHER results, but after a few more days u will know its not a placebo, esp. after ur 2nd day training a body part, like ur next chest day or ur 2nd arm and back day on NOS ETHER.

Thoughts:
Had a great workout today. I am slowly starting to get used to squatting at 6AM. At first, I really stuggled with not being loose enough after rolling out of bed, but it is getting better.

Without question, my legs are not nearly as fatigued as they usually are after legs. Tomorrow will be a cardio day and then Thursday is my next upper-body day.

Day 5 - Cardio Sucks

The breakdown:

Took 1.5 scoops before breakfast and 1 scoop before lunch. Took Purple Wraath pre and during Cardio.

The Workout:

Cardio

Went with a 24 minute alternating run/walk. Two minute fast jog with one minute walk for 24 minutes.

Legs felt like they weighed about 200lbs each today. It was a stuggle as I was aiming for 30 minutes but just could not do it. I am wondering if the NOS had anything to do with what "seemed like" pumped quads and calves. I think that if I am going to Cardio mid-afternoon it may not be a good idea to take the second serving of NOS before cardio.

Any thoughts???????

Younglifter16

how far was your ether doses from your cardio? also, you used 2.5 scoops of ether as opposed to the 2, so it could very well have been the leg pump slowing you down (espeically when combined with the HIIT-like cardio you did).

blueboy22

Yeah, I was just telling someone dont take NOS ETHER pre-cardio, the pumps will slow u down. Also ur just over 190, so 1.5 am and 1 mid-day is correct, but work that post cardio. I take my am dosage after my am cardio.

10x80

BB Upright Rows
15x85
12x85
12x85

Post Thoughts:
Felt decent today. Took me about 55 minutes to get this workout done. I am noticing an improved recovery time between sets and the "general fatigue" is not setting in until much later in the workout.

The second serving of NOS almost completely eliminates fatigue. For a guy like me that works out at at 6AM, I am used to dragging through the morning after my workout, but not anymore. Sitting here just a few hours later, I feel as though I could go workout again. It's kind of hard to explain, but I know I pushed myself as hard as I could this morning, but I am left sitting here ready to go the gym again...........

Post Thoughts:
Wow.....what a workout today. Set two different PR's on deads today. I felt strong through the whole workout. This is typically a day where I am dead when I am done but I am still feeling great. That was without question the strongest I have ever felt doing deads. I was tempted to go for 400, but I'll wait at least another week for that...no reason to mess up a good thing.

Funny u asked that because like an hour ago asked Jeremy whats the hold up. Last I heard they recieved it over a week ago in ID but kind of lost track of it (probably in that football dome of a warehouse) so they didnt put it up last week (they dont put up new products until they are at both location). So anyway I sent an email to find out if it would be up today. Havent got a reply back and im about to go train legs, so I will see if its up when I get home later today.

I wasn't able to push myself like I would have liked to today in squats because my workout partner was late getting there. I would have asked for a spot from someone but the only people working out at 5:30AM at the YMCA is women and old men.....no one that I trusted. Other than that, the workout was solid.

If I did have any complaint so far, it would be that I am not sure this product suits me well for working out so early in the morning. If/when I take this on my own, I will also include some sort of caffeine in the morning to get me going.....When I get back to working out in the afternoon, I am sure this wouldn't be an issue, but when I am getting up at 5AM, I need a little more of a kickstart.

Yesterday was me and my wifes 5th anniversary. We went out to dinner last night and then went to a Block Party with a few of her friends. For the first time in a little more than 4 months I had little too much to drink. I feel sh!t today, but we had a great time and I suppose I owe it to her to let go every once in awhile and allow myself to have a little fun.

Cardio tomorrow.

Two Weeks in the Books

Strength Increase:8.5/10
It's still early, but my strength is going up in almost every lift. I have little doubt that i will hit the 300lb bench mark during this log.

Pumps: 8/10
Unlike some other products, the pumps come very quickly on NOS. After working bi's or tri's, my arms look bigger than they ever have before.

Endurance & recovery: 10/10
IMO, this is the best product I have taken in terms of endurance and recovery. The amount of rest needed between sets has decreased dramatically. Also, on sets where I used to struggle at 5 reps, I have no problem now going 8+ reps.

Energy and focus: 5/10
I am a teacher and during the school year I work out in the afternoon so energy is never an issue. But during the summer I work out at 5 or 6AM, so energy has been a problem at times. There is a noticeable "on" feeling shortly after taking this product, and I am sure that it would be exceptional if I was still working out in the afternoon.

Overall, I am really pleased with this product. The pricetag may seem a bit high, but many of you spend more than $60 on NO and creatine products a month. There is no question that I will be placing an order soon for more NOS ETHER to get me through the rest of the summer.

I am have gained 3.5 pounds in two weeks on this product. My diet has not changed yet I am gaining weight. Oddly enough, I also look more "cut" in the mirror. Not many products can increase strength and bodyweight, while also working to help lower your bf%.

Starting on Monday, I will begin using R4W pre-workout to help with the energy issue.

thats for the 2 weeks in review, it stacks well with r4w, plus the strength gains start going up hill real fast after 12-14 days because it take a while for ur body to load on ribose....plus ur in there so early.....nothing can make me stronger lifting am or lifting before 2 meals that day.

The Workout:

Squat (ATG):

Thoughts:
Decent workout today. I hadn't done cable rows for weeks but was able to do 10lbs more for 5 more reps than I could the last time that I did them. I was ready to try to push out that 5th rep on squat, but was afraid if I went to ATG, I wasn't going to be coming back up.

Tomorrow is cardio day....I might mix it up and go for a bike ride or something..maybe trail running?

hey great log so far... i just came off a nos precursor/clout/body octane stack which was not just amazing, but my personal best as far as strength, size, focus, and especially endurance go... anyway, i just started my nos precursor/nos ether powder/diesel test hardcore stack, which i will be comparing against the clout stack to see which is better, the main focus will be on the clout/body octane vs. the ether powder since i could get both clout and body octane for around the same price as the new ether...the previous ether pills were crushed by my evaluation of clout, so im hoping that this new ether powder will come out on top..so far im only 2 days into the ether powder stack so ill create a thread towards the end giving you guys any important updates and a final review of the product as a standalone as well as a final review of the clout stack vs. the ether powder stack....good luck with the rest of your log ill be reading!

PS: if you have run clout/body octane before, or just clout, how would you compare it to ether powder so far? if you haven't, how would you compare the new ether powder against your other top rated creatine products of all time?

I have never used clout/octane before so I can't compare them.

As far as other creatine products go, my strength is increasing much quicker and my recovery time is faster than on Storm/Shock and WF/GM.

Another amazing workout. Set three PR's today. It seems as though the product has fully kicked in and my body is "saturated" with all of the goodies in NOS ETHER. I was definitely "in the zone" today.

It was one of those workouts that make you not want to leave the gym. I could hardly lift my arms above my head when I was done, but I wanted more. What I really need is more cowbell.......

I know it sounds like a broken record, but another amazing workout today. PR's continue to be reached daily......kind of makes me wonder when this will stop and how high I will get before it does.

So I have decided that I will run a second consecutive tub of NOS as soon as this one runs out. I do not have a lot left, so I will be putting my order in today. For me to put my own money on the line, I have to believe in a product, and I do believe in NOS ETHER.

I will be doing the final review either tonight or tommorow morning.

Final Review

The breakdown:

I am now finished with the tub of NOS ETHER.

Weight:
Started: 194
Finished 198

My diet did not change much at all, yet I was able to put on 3.8lbs while in the mirror it appears that I "leaned out" a little.

Max Lifts:
Bench:
Started: 5x235
Finished: 5x240
ATG Squat:
Started: 5x280
Finished: 5x290
Deadlift:
Started: 5x330
Finished: 5X335

Energy: 7/10 solo----- 9/10 with R4W:

It is a clean energy that lasts throughout the workout. There is no crash after taking it and it gives you the feeling that you can always do one or two more reps than you expect.

Pumps: 9/10

Pumps come very quickly and are sustained throughout the workout. The also last hours after you have finished your workout. There were times I was looking in the mirror and looked migger and fuller than I ever have before.

Strength Increases: 10/10

I wet up in every single exercise that I did from the start to the finish. Towards the end of the log, I was setting 2-3 PR's every single workout.

Taste/Texture/Mixability: 10/10

The taste in like a watered down lemon drink and is easy to get down. The product mixes easily in a shaker and disolved nearly 100%.

Recovery/Endurance: 9/10

For me, the most impressive part of this product was the endurance and recovery effects of NOS ETHER. I would finish my workout in record times, setting PR's, and feel like I couls still go for another hour. The soreness that I usually feel after a crazy leg day was almost non-existant while taking NOS ETHER. I was able to do cardio the day after hammering my legs, which was something I had really struggled with in the past.

Overall rating: 9.5/10

Thoughts:
First off, I would like to thank Chuck for giving me the opportunity to test/log this product. I tried to do the best log I could giving as much detail and information as I could daily. Hopefully Chuck is glad that he chose me and is happy with this log.

IMO, the price may scare some people off, but when you consider that this a an NO/Creatine product, the price is actually very reasonable. If you are a lifter that is beginning to plateau on your lifts, I would believe this would be the ideal product to take your workouts up to the next level and break through your plateaus. Also, if you are a pure powerlifter that is not at all concerned with diet and only care about pure strength gains, this would also be the ideal product for you. I was able to gain strength in every area while being on a maintenance diet. I CAN NOT WAIT to see what my strength gains will be like when I am taking this on a bukling diet.

If you have any questions ask here or pm me and I will do my best to help out in any way that I can.

I have gotten about a dozen pm's asking me how this compares to product x, y, or z. So, here are a few comparisons:

NOS ETHER VS. CL stack (GM/WF)

Strength Increase:NOS
Taste: NOS
Energy: CL
Endurance: NOS

No product has given me strength increases like NOS. WF didn't taste very good and GM can get sickly sweet after awhile. NOS alone does lack that energy rush that you get from the CL stack.

NOS ETHER VS. Universal (ST and storm))

Strength Increase:NOS
Taste: NOS
Energy: CL
Endurance: NOS

Basically the same as the above stack. I had no intestinal problems with NOS, but ST tore me up for the first few weeks.

NOS ETHER VS. Animal Pump

Strength Increase:NOS
Taste: AP
Energy: NOS
Endurance: AP

Obviously being pills, AP gets the nod in taste. The caffeine pill didn't do anything for me at all as far as energy goes. I still feel that AP's biggest strength is the endurance/recovery aspect.

IMO, NOS is the best out of these options. CL takes second, AP is third, ST and Shock last.

I am still using NOS ETHER and my gains continue to amaze me. I am still setting PR's on nealry an every day basis.

The only reason I am really updating this is that my diet is still the same as it was on the 6 weeks leading up to starting NOS and the 7 weeks I have been taking NOS. With that said, I look leaner in the mirror but I am to 201lbs. That is a gain of 7 pounds in 7 weeks, yet when looking at my abs and back, I am much more "toned" than when I started.
