Aight so lifting for the offseason starts this Monday for football. I do not know what the program looks like as of yet but am pretty sure it will consist of upper body and lower body days 4 times a week. [GUESSING]

However I have concerns with their weight room...

-Very small compared to the local gym I workout at
-Weights/bars/DBs/etc. all feel eccentric to me compared to those at my local gym as well. As if some are numbered higher than they should be
-Workout will most likely be mandatory and I do not like lifting this way as they make you do the same thing every week, I like to mix up heavy movements with isolations, different exercies and whatnot each other week.

Do you guys know if they usually require you to lift at the school in the offseason or not?

They dont (at our school) REQUIRE you to do it, they do BFS (bigger fatter slower...just playin) and have a underground workout facilitiy because one of the graduates of our HS works for a major fitness company.

I would go to them... how would it reflect upon you in your coaches eyes if you didnt?
