If so, did it stand up to it's promise?
I bought this brush off T.V. that promised straight hair, it twirls around..needless to say, it got stuck in my hair :o It was a total waste of money :(
Anyone else?

I bought a magic bullet after my husband watched the infomercial for an hour. He was convinced it would change our lives :D
I made fun of it ruthlessly until it came. Now I use it every day.

I've seen those magic bullets, and wanted to buy one, sounds like they work pretty good. I may just buy one of those!

If you read my blog then you'll sea why I broke up with him. I didn't buy it for him, he bought it himself.

Yup, my Hubby bought one of those. We have a "As Seen On TV" store in the mall. It's fun to wander through and see what the stuff really looks like. Almost always looks way better on TV. But we love that Magic Bullett.
I have always seen cool stuff and wanted to buy it but have never gone through with it.

I bought a Total Gym 1000 from an infomercial! (serious) ....actually, I now have two of them!!! A friend of mine gave me another one which I took apart and used the pulleys and handles as add ons to my power rack :D
Something else I bought off TV is a limited edition remastered version of Jean Michel Jarre's Oxygene Parts 1 - 6 and 7 - 13. I couldn't believe TVSN actually had something that was GOOD for a change!!!
Jean Michel Jarre is one of my biggest influences and those two albums are his best work

I haven't purchased them off of the infomercials, but I have purchased all of the following:
BareMinerals makeup - I have a lot of it.....excellent stuff
George Foreman grill
Core Rhythms workout tapes
Huggable Hangers - from one of the home shopping channels
I'm generally extremely skeptical of anything sold on TV, but all of them have been excellent, and I'd certainly purchase all over again.

What are huggable hangers?
I've never purchased off TV. I have purchased from direct distributors, though.

The "bullet" is a small egg shaped vibrator, but not sure what the magic bullet is.
I'm with you dimepiece...my mind immediately went to a vibe.

They rock! It's a slimmer, flocked hanger - nothing falls off of them and you can fit a LOT more into your closet. :)
I actually purchased mine at a Linens 'n Things, got the black. LOVE them. Go to huggablehangers.com.

Try BareMinerals when you need more.......it was the first and is the best! Plus, they have a gazillion shades to play with. That and you can get it at Ulta, Sephora or a Bare Escentuals boutique so you can try it out before you buy it.

I got the MaxiGlide hair straightener and it's the best thing I've ever used in my life! My hair used to look like fur, now it's pretty much silky straight and stays that way. Love that thing!!!!!
I also got the Proactiv pimple kits. I like these too, especially the beady cleanser and that mask! I use it to spot-treat zits overnight.
Hey, has anyone seen that strap-on electronic device that's gives perfect abs in no time by shocking the muscles? I love watching that infomercial just for the comic value!

Omgg.. I totally wanna buy that.
I see it in the stores for $50-60 bucks and I'm very tempted to try it. I was hoping to hear it was in fact all its cracked up to be. =p

I bought the Perfect Pancake thing a few years ago. Worked great.
Thing is I realized it's really not that hard to make pancakes (esp. after finding some high protein recipes).
I got one of those Contour pillows at an As Seen store in Gatlinburg, TN a long time ago. Still have it.

I think the BareMinerals in almost exactly the same as the PurMinerals...I will def give it a try.
Dimepiece - They do make a magic bullet sex toy (but that's not the one everyone is talking about) I guess you could use in your kitchen if you wanted to he,he,he...

I bought The Salsa Maker (as seen on TV)...and I LOVE IT! It's basically a manual food processor/chopper, but it chops everything (tomatos, nuts, fingers:mad:, etc.) and the cleanup is sooooooo easy. I recently ordered 2 more. I like to give away as gifts and keep a spare in case one breaks. I couldn't live without it!:)

i love infomercials honestly haha but i bought Wen hair care line. it was a really good deal for the first introduction thing, but you have to be sure to cancel the autoshipments cuz its a rip off for those, better to buy it off QVC or something. Its actually the best conditioner and leave in ive ever used, but i still need to wash with shampoo once a week otherwise i get itchy ..
also got bareminerals, which was horrible imo. has a wierd shiny finish to it.
but i've always wanted to get the magic bullet, have been seeing that infomercial for years and i think i'll go head and buy it now.

Nope, i threw a ash tray at my T.V. screen and damaged it when i saw electro stimuli muscle productes being sold - i think i have a good lawsuit against them for making me mad.
