View Full Version : Adidistar shoes.........

I bought these shoes to do cleans and stuff in but every time I wear them and stomp my feet on the lift they begin to hurt my on the sides and in general are uncomfartable.Lets hear some suggestions on which shoes to wear when doing the oly lifts/squats ect.......

post pictures and prices if you could as well

the adistar shoes are really tight at first but you eventually get used to them, for oly squats and the olympic lifts a heel like those shoes is necessary IMO, just keep working out in them and your feet will become accustomed to them.

adistar ironwork II shoes, and I have never had a more stable squatting surface to stand on.

I got a pair Adistars a little over a month ago, and mine were very tight as well when I first got them. That seems to be the general consensus regarding these shoes. They are, however, starting to loosen up some. If you've got wide feet, I've heard the Do-Wins are wider than the Adidas shoes.....and that they also have slightly higher heel.

I switched out the big thick soles the came with and replaced them with the soles from my nike free trainer 5.0 s and they are much more comfartable now. I think I might buy some do0wins anyways just incase they are more comfartable because I do have wide feet and I like a really high heel to sit back on in the snatch .
