Well, I dont post in this section really but Ill introduce myself I guess..

I am 16 years old.. 5'6 1/2"....currently 198 pounds..I have pics in my signature if you want to check those out as well. I really would like to do my first competition sometime around june-august 2005. That would give me plenty of time to add on some more weight and have enough time to diet for the contest. I have been talking to karatechris and he has been helping me and ive talked about carb cycling and such with him, and Ive talked to str8flexed a little bit in PM's whos been good with answering questions.. abdominator also has been good with replying if I ask him any questions..

Anyway, the point of this thread is to ask all you competitors.. what was it like stepping on stage for the first time? I am like 8 months away around and I am already nervous as can be. Thoughts in my mind like(will I be lean enough?, Will they boo me off the stage? Are the judges going to laugh at me?) things like that mostly lol, and it is just scary thinking about it. I just am looking for any tips, good stories of how nervous you were and overcame your fear, I dont know...maybe its just because its 3:30am and im loosing my mind, but I really really want to compete..and maybe someone can help me realize it's not that scary of a thing at all. I dont even know what im asking, I am just falling apart at the moment.

You may not be lean enough and you might be laughed at by the judges, but the only way you would get people booing at you is if you did something really dumb or stupid on stage, hahaha. My first time competing I wasn't nervous at all. My only advice would be not to wack off for a few days before the competition. You're always more confident when you're running on a full tank. It worked for me.

I'm not a "specialist" on the last week, but what I know from a lot of people is that you should keep the same foods that you did throughout your whole diet and don't change too many things in the last week. If it's not broke, it doesn't need to be fixed.
