Is muscle milk ok during a pre-contest diet? Anyone know? I know it is loaded with calories and fat. However, in theory I would think it is permissible cause of its low carb content. I am already seriously carb depleting. You need some fat to keep your testosterone levels up when you dieting hard like that. I do not see anything wrong with just one MM RTD a day! Does anyone else have an opinion or experience on that! I am looking really good right now and am actually a little ahead of the game. I just do not want to screw up anything!

i wouldn't use MM in my cutting diet (especially the RTD, has more sugar in it). I suppose if it fits into your calorie requirements then its probably not going to hinder you too much. But its always better to get your fat sources from things like PB, fish oil, avocado's. My advice would be just to hang on to it until you start bulking.

you want fat yes but the right kind.....i wouldnt even drink muscle milk if i wasnt contest dieting.

Most guys will tell you no, but I have used it all the way up to contest before. I love the taste of that stuff. I had it once a day in the morning. Got me through just fine. As long as macros are in check, shouldn't be a problem.
