Yes, the sooner you start the better. It will take 1-2 weeks of continued use for IntraXCell to START to increase your performance. Take IXL with carbs to speed its benefits up, when ever possible. Pre/postWO dose is also a great time to speed up IXL's uptake!

I've been off two. I meant to do arms Thursday or Friday, but I had a test and ended up having to errands... So I will wake up at 7:30 and use the changable dumbbells and ez-curl bar to do some work...

Thinking about:
Wide-grip curls SS overhead tricep extensions w/ curl bar
Alternating DB curls SS kickbacks (never actually did this exercise before!)
Hammer curls SS one arm overhead extensions
Reverse curls on ez bar SS skull crushers
concentration curls :)

Dunno how much the bar weighs... Possibly 15-25 lbs... Who knows. Massive arm vein poppin' though :p

SUPERSET WITH

Overhead Tricep Extensions with Curl Bar
Same weights and reps as Wide-Grip Curls
I think the weight is too light for my triceps cuz I didn't really feel anything... Or very little actually.

Alternating Dumbbell Curls

Good pump. Arms felt huge... :D

Thoughts
Workout was fairly decent. Got tired quite fast. But I did do more sets than the usual 3-4...

Also, changed my brake pads today... Those things were bothering me. And I now know why it's important to have those lifts to lift the car to eye level and higher... Cuz it's a freaking back-breaker to bend over and try to get that freaking tire on lol. Dang my back was tired after that...

Notes on IXL: Well, more like the bottle. I like how the seal popped when I took it off. It was sealed nicely... Not like most products I get nowadays where the seal comes off with the top and such... It's nice to know that AEN takes care of their products well to ensure freshness! Excellent job.

Also, had some slight tingles. For a moment when I was changing songs on my computer. I thought I was gonna have an outbreak! But I didn't! Thank GOODNESS! :D I hate those freaking tingles lol.

I'm seriously glad to be conditioned to the tingles now. I find them uncomfortable, though they are better than the hands-shaking thing...

I think people use religion to their advantage when they really want something else... Christianity in itself should be peaceful, but of course Bush used it to sway votes and attack the Middle East...

But anyway, this is a misc section type conversation. Plus we're both adults and have made our decisions or can change them whenever we feel swayed. It's all good, I got no quirks with you Will :) But I'd appreciate if you didn't say such vulgar words still and mean it... well, not that I can stop you from it :p

thanks to my in law. she bought some chinese medicine and capsules. one by one, she fix the caps & medicine herself; then bottled them in the IXL bottle. What can I say? When I opened my cupboard, there was one in it. I was shocked. :eek:

so she spreads the words on the containers to some Chinese ladies whom she met. they asked for those empty bottles too. SE or IXL empty containers wanted!

Yeah... Since my left calf is one inch smaller than my right, I gotta step it up on the left side :D

Treadmill
Walked on it for 6 minutes at 3.5 mph for 5 minutes and 3.0 for 1 minute. The Incline adjusted itself since I set it on cardio, so the incline went from like 3 to 6 to 5 and whatnot... I ended up getting .38 miles. So it's cool. Just wanted to warm-up my body for the sauna.

Sauna
12 minutes in that hot place. Good sweat. Good heat. Always love it :)

Post-Workout Supplementation
2.5 scoops of DE Cafe Mocha in 8 oz of 2% Milk
No IXL since I took 3 caps in the morning with my oats :p

Yeah... the head ache was more like a vein rupture in my brain. I'm kinda scared. The pain went away after the workout and this has happened once or twice before... But I dunno about seeing a doctor about it LOL. I really should.

I haven't been taking Steel Edge yet! I'm holding out until my carnosine levels reach a good amount first. AEN said one or two weeks of IXL and my carnosine levels should be decent and gains off IXL itself will be good. So why not wait until the IXL is doing its job at an optimal level first and then bring in the secret weapon (SE!) to boost it!

But there hasn't been a workout since I got that box of IXL and SE that I haven't wanted to rip open a packet of SE to down and own the gym! :D

it doesnt taste great, however it tastes better than others i have tried. and doesnt require a 1 liter of water to drink it down either.

plus it grows on you and the effects you get from drinking it are well worth the 10-15sec's it takes to down it.

OK. After the first set, my THROBBING HEADACHE came back. Again, it felt like something had ruptured in my brain... But when I feel the top of my head, it feels like I bruised it and it is very sensitive... Well, of course I haven't hit my head on anything in a very long time... So I dunno what's up. I noticed that if I control my breathing to deep breaths and exhale on the positive, it hurts less. So I did that and was able to hit some PR's! First time I've done weighted pull-ups... It felt good to do that many with weights, but freaking my head was hurting like a mofo... Not cool.

Deadlifts
95x12, 135x5, 175x8, 225x6
No belt. My head would hurt after 5 reps starting on the 2nd set... DANG it hurt doing 135. The pain was less (but not by much) for the last sets... So I tried my best to think of my muscles instead of my hurting brain. It didn't work. I know I can do way more but my brain hurt. Sucks.

T-Bar Rows
25x15, 50x12, 75x10, 100x8, 125x8
Head didn't hurt as much here, but I could tell it was still there... It really bothered me so I ended the workout here.

AHHH WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY FREAKING HEAD! Sorry AEN and devote followers of my log. I will be taking ONE (1) week off to heal my brain. When I get back to working out, if the pain persists, I will definitely see a doctor. I will continue to take 2 servings a day of IXL and hopefully when I get back, I'll be SUPER STRONG! I'll try to keep up on the boards to play with you guys though :D

I also have a midterm and a final next week, so it's kinda cool that this headache rest comes at this time. But it sucks for my body and my transformation contest... But can't really do anything about it. It's out of my hands. Hopefully the rest will make me GFH and my head will be fixed. Cya when I cya!

Try this. Hold your breath and try to push your car while it is in Park. Try it again while breathing out. Notice which one makes your face redder/puts more pressure on your head (the first one, by the way, in case you don't want to test this). Breathing, particularly in rhythm is a very important part of the technique of effective exercise control.

One thing, though. If you do manage to blow a blood vessel (which is what this sounds like) and it causes pain, agony, etc., do NOT continue exercising...

Also gotta do a write-up on Paul the Apostle for the middle school kids. "Paul: The Legacy." I heard from someone that Paul the Apostle was voted the most influential man ever from Time magazine... Couldn't find that Time so I dunno. Anyway, it's a write-up on the area he affected, the past and the present. It's also on how he changed the world's pretty chaotic views on family, religion, culture, practices, and etc. Surprisingly, it's more than I've ever thought... If Christianity had never been, would the world be better or worse than it is now? So I've gotta go back into context of Paul's time and see the amazing chaos of that time which would have grown worse and worse through time. From speculation of course. Pretty interesting stuff.

But yes, I guess the gym sessions I miss allow me for more time for other things... for now :D

CARN levels will gradually decrease, when ever you discontinue using BA. The amount of time it will take before them to return to base line will depend on how much BA you took and for how long. 2-4 weeks is the approximate range it will take for CARN levels to return to baseline after stopping BA usage.

Dang these were hard. It really worked my grip but it got my bi's really good. I was trying not to use so much back as well, so it was good. If I was trying to work my back, I'd do Pull-ups :p

I could hardly feel these cuz my tri's were too pumped... But it was good still lol. SUPERSET WITH...

Dumbbell Curls (not alternating)

My arms were already pumped and tired here... so... Just a good killer in general :D

Reverse Cable Flies

Oh gosh.. last set was just terrible. Way too tired haha. But definitely fun. Since all my exercises involved the delts somehow, I decided to throw in some good rear delt action. And it was good...

I'm quite happy with this workout. Great comeback workout from being scared half to death about aneurysms... Which I still am actually lol...

But good stuff today. Quite happy. Summer school is almost over too! Can't be sad about that! YESSSSS~!

Just noting that I took my 6 IXL caps today. Still smells like egg fart, but eh. Final on Thursday and SQUATS after that! WHOO~ I'm hyped. Plus I'm gonna use Steel Edge :) Since it'll be 13 days of saturating my body with IXL.

Just poured the SE into about 8 oz of water... Boy does it smell like citrus-y piss... Ugh... I'm gonna dread drinking this. It better make my squatting effing HYUGE!.

Edit: Well at least it tastes orange-y... Not too shabby. Quite tolerable. Is it supposed to be this grainy? Also took 3 fart pills (IXL).

Man, I love the taste of SteelEdge, regardless of bias, I have never tasted a better preWO supplement. We use all natural orange and citrus flavors, so in no way should it be overpowering or fake tasting. Plus I got complimented on my strength by TWO different people today! Flippin' sweet.

Leg Press SUPERSET WITH Calf Press
90x20/25, 180x15/20, 270x12/15, 360x10/15
Went really deep on the first three sets, like you could hear the leg press machine hit the total bottom. Got scared on the last set to do the same, so I went a little past 90 degrees. All in all, super quad hitter and calves weren't feeling too shabby either :D

Walking Dumbbell Lunges
30'sx12, 40'sx12, 40'sx12
Was feeling really wobbly on the second set, so I didn't bump it up to 50's on the last. Still an awesome leg killer over-all.

Decline Ball-Twist Crunches
15 ball x 10 reps x 2 sets
This kicked my butt. Abs were on fire after the first set. And to do another set... OMG. Felt good. Gotta get those abs back. They kinda went away :o Oh yeah, it's done like: one regular crunch, ball is thrown to person, twist crunch with ball down up, throw ball back, one regular crunch, repeat...

Leg Extensions

Quads were most pumped here. Always a good thing.

Standing Calf Raises on Smith Machine

Tired. Calves were about to cramp. Good pump in calves though.

haha I like what I'm doing now cuz it works. Once a week is doing it for my legs. Grew at least an inch on my thighs and an inch on my calves since squatting once a week with that routine. So... :D Plus I hate 5x5, so boring!!! :p

First two sets were reverse-wide-grip pull-downs to warm up. Pull-ups were normal-wide-grip. The halves are because I couldn't get my chin over the bar. But I really felt it in my lats, so it was good!

Freaking last set, the back part of the bar comes flying up even though 3 35's were on it lol. I'm gonna start putting weight onto the bar instead of just on top of it from now on so it doesn't come off the floor again.

These felt good. Body is definitely leaning more forward with knees to chest and works the chest a lot more! Good job Gironda lol

Form was terrible on last set haha. I was like at a 60 degree angle :p... Oh well. It's all good!

These felt ok... Really have to squeeze my shoulder blades together to feel it in my chest. Reverse flies were good too. Squeeze them shoulders!

Good pump. Shoulders looked EXTRA wide after this. Great pump move before hitting the beach to look extra buff

Went camping from Sunday to today. Super fun. Ate a lot of stuff fresh off the grill. Got some great learning about the real God and not the one displayed in media (yeah, they're different).

Took my IXL and Orange TRIad throughout this time, though I didn't get to work out cuz there are not weights in the forest.

I'mma hit chest and back today. Then legs tomorrow. Then final pics for the transformation contest on Friday... so yummy pics of me!!! :D It's good to be back.

Bleh, really went down in numbers here lol. Pretty bad for the last day before the end of the competition. But I'm glad I hit 335x8 last week... Kinda doing more reps for the working sets (3rd and 4th). No spotter today, so less confidence, so lower numbers :(

Walking Dumbbell Lunges
30'sx12, 40'sx12, 50'sx12
These don't exhaust me as bad as before. Definitely gonna bump up the weights when I get back from camping the week after next.

Leg Extensions
90x25, 110x26, 130x25
lol wasn't paying attention to the count in my head for the second set and went one rep over. I'm kinda sick still, so I cut everything a bit short today. I was hawking massive loogies~

Standing Smith Machine Calf Raises
90x20, 110x15, 130x15, 140x15
As usual, I supersetted these with just left calf standing raises on the ground with bodyweight. Gotta get that left calf as big as the right!

Seated Calf Raises
45x15, 70x15, 70x15
My thighs don't really fit well between two of the levels... So my quads were feeling weird during this. Good contraction nonetheless.

Decline Ball Twist Crunches
20x10, 20x8
Abs felt good after these. Definitely a breathe-taker.

Post-Workout Supplementation
2.5 scoops of DE Cafe Mocha

Good stretch on these. I feel the stretch and contraction better on BB than DB for this move. Weird, but that's just the way it goes!

Parallel Bar Dips

Felt it more in my triceps than chest, but that's ok. I did it Gironda style to work more of the lower chest, but I guess it didn't work out that well. It's still better than doing it not Gironda style though (for lower chest that is).

Decline HammerStrength Press

My chest and tri's were pretty shot by now, so I cut the sets down. My mental focus was pretty high though. My body felt tired, but my mind was very awake and aware!

Cable CrossOvers

Chest was pretty pumped. 36's were quite hard to do.

CloseGrip Bench Press

Wow... Didn't know how shot my tri's were. Had to drop the bar on my chest for the last set and change to regular flat bench grip and it was still hard to get the bar up haha.

This was a good comeback workout. I feel so energized even after the workout. I think it has to do with the SteelEdge. The SE didn't kick-in until the incline presses, so I think I'm gonna take SE 30 minutes pre-workout instead of 15 minutes.

And to those who said the tingles go away... They don't lol. I just feel more comfortable with them now and they kinda get me pumped :D

Ah... Excited to hit legs tomorrow, but I have a feeling 315 is gonna be tough... :p

Last set was terrible form. Dunno what I'm doing lol. I dunno why I was taking less rest between sets, but it definitely screwed me up. I also felt over-heated, if y'know what I mean... And that bothers me cuz I feel too hot to work out. Later in the workout I get cold though lol. Weird.

Wow... Drinking some Horse Power right now... Strong flavor lol

Smells like Orange Creme Soda, but definitely a sour taste with a hint of orange creme... That mofo is strong. I suggest gulping it down ASAP.

I'm still gonna drink 1.5 scoops of SE 30 minutes pre-WO and take my IXL. I figured, the max beta-alanine I'm taking in is 6.9 lol, so that's cool. I'm guessing it's less since the BA in HP is a blend. I'm still interested in glycerol monostearate... But I'll be trying more of that with my 32 samples of WTF Pump'd.

Man, this stuff is strong flavored!

Good stuff EE, yeah, I wouldn't go over 1.5 sccops. Most find 1-1.5 optimal and anything over 1.5 actually often worsens the neuro focus/energy effects. 1.5 and using the AEN dosage timing tip, should put you in a very focused/energized state.

Just a little past parallel works very well for me. On the last set, I could feel every hamstring fiber shaking and working... That feels so good... Just puts me in a good mood! :)

Excellent quad killers. As usual, I do this on the lower part of the platform. And I have one of those leg presses where the platform bends in the middle.

I had to take HYUUGE rest breaks in between cuz these were so exhausting. I felt so in the mood to workout though, it was great! I didn't even faulter on any of these sets. Feels goooood.

Re-Composition......basically losing fat and gaining muscle at the same time. It's a slow process. If you are looking bigger and weight the same, then you may very well be recomping ;) :cool:

Definitely getting my form back. Sticking the tushie out a little more and keeping the knees behind the toes. Went slower on all reps as well. It was good. I am satisfied.

Leg Press SUPERSET WITH Calf Press
90x15/15, 180x12/12, 270x10/10, 360x8/8
Full-ROM on all reps. Felt it in my calves really well for some reason, but that's not a bad thing.

Walking Dumbbell Lunges
30'sx12, 40'sx12, 50'sx12
Felt really strong on these. I should bump it up 5 pounds for each set.

Leg Extensions
110x20, 130x20
Stopped there. Something was wrong with both knees... they felt less flexible or something.

Standing Smith-Machine Calf Raises
90x15, 110x15, 130x12, 150x12
These blasted my calves. When I got home, I was still aching!

Post-Workout Supplementation
1.5 scoops of Dymatize Smooth Banana Whey
1 scoop of Optimum Nutrition ChocoMint

Wow. I don't like Incline DB's lol. I don't feel it as much and I have this weird strain feeling in my bi's and tri's in my left arm when I do it. Gonna stick with incline barbell for a while.

These felt pretty good. No complaints.

Decline HammerStrength Press

Phew. Gradually going up in these. Good lower pec move.

Cable CrossOvers

Feeling a bit of a pull in my left lower mid pec. Blah.

I suck at running lol Terrible cardiovascular system. Definitely gotta work on that. It was 2 sprints @ 9 mph for a minute each and the rest was like 6 mph or something like that :p

4 sets of some lighter weights that I forgot, 168x8, 180x5
Decided to change it up a bit. I always do pull-ups and they didn't seem to be going up, so I decided to pull a Jay Cutler and do some of these :p It works fo shawty.

T-Bar Rows
50x20, 75x12, 100x12, 125x8, 150x7
Heard some clicking sound in my back at the 6th rep for the last set and then another for the 7th and decided to stop. It was fun. I'm in love with T-bar Rows :D Again, I gotta set up the T-bar row thing. Put a 100 against the wall, put the barbell under the 100, grab a V-bar, and pack on the weights son!

Reverse-Grip Barbell Rows
95x15, 95x12, 115x12, 135x12, 155x12
Form got sucky on the last few reps of 155, but that's cool. Cheating once in a while never hurt anyone!

One-Arm Dumbbell Rows
50x15/15, 65x12/12, 80x10/10, 95x8/8, 100x8/8
Whew, these felt goood. Haven't done these in a while. Gonna start doing them again!

V-bar Pull-Downs
84x12, 84x12, 120x8

FINAL REVIEW Part One


Boosts Explosive Muscular Strength & Power Output.
It definitely worked for squats. There's definitely a part of me that wants to say it didn't work for my bench and deadlift... But I must honestly say that I don't really like to bench and deadlift that much. The combination of liking an exercise and performing it will increase the poundage on that lift. I really like squats so it went up. Did IXL help with it? I believe it did. But because I did not like to perform bench and deads, they did not go up. I didn't expect deads to go up at all or much because I performed them maybe once every 3 weeks :p I just listed it because lots of people wonder about the big 3. I continued to bench every week though, but it never really went up. I will talk more about my bench in the other topics though.


Increase Muscle Mass.
I put on a good 3-4 pounds and look a bit leaner. I'll have pics and other stats up tomorrow probably. I'm a recomper fo' lyfe. And though my bench press did not increase, it also did not decrease. And my chest is looking better than before! I don't really understand this phenomenom, but I ain't complaining :p


Increase Anaerobic Muscular Endurance.
Hm... not quite sure about this... I'll have to say N/A for now.


Increase Aerobic Endurance.
I have pretty long sessions... (1.5-2 hours) and y'know what, I do feel like I was able to work out longer and do more sets. You'd find me doing 4-7 sets on many exercises... Even heavy squatting!


Delay Muscular Fatigue - Train Harder & Longer
Yes. It does do that. For sure. No doubt about it. Could train chest longer. Could train back longer. Could train legs longer. Could train shoulders and arms longer.


Increase Muscle Fullness and Vascularity
I was taking citrulline malate and arginine as well (CM separate and arginine was in my creatine), and vascularity and muscle fullness have never been a problem for me. So I can't say if it did or did not do it's job here. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt cuz there were just some days I felt especially hyuuuuge lol


No Bloating or Water-Retention
Definitely. None whatsoever.

haha that's only part 1! OMG I'm so sore from my workout last night. I'm dying. lol There will be a part 2 and 3 I believe to my review! How could I NOT go in depth into these products (oh yeah, gonna review Steel Edge too :D)
