Hi, peeps! It's November 2, 2004, 9:30 pm, and I'm a human marshmallow!
That's the bad news (other than Election Day, but I'm sooo not getting into that!); the good news is that I've finally managed to talk my husband into working out WITH me. Whoohoo! (The cynic in me wonders how long it'll take before he wimps out, though....)
Oh, well. Today, I went out and got myself some creatine, decent food, CLA, and diet soda (must....have....caffiene....). I did a bit of weightlifting and discovered that I'm a weakling, lol-I had trouble with a measly 15 pound weight! ACK! I used to curl 65 just a few months ago! Eh. That's what bedrest does to a gal, I guess.....
So, now I'm dragging my butt out of bed. Since I'm such a weakling, I'll be gradually increasing the weight I use, but I refuse to use anything lighter than 15, just because of pride, lmao. I don't care if I'm bawling in pain at the end of my sets; I can't stand being squishy anymore! I want my body back!!!!
Annoying incident of the day? At GNC, where I bought my suppliments, I was waited on by a guy with a pot gut and flabbier arms than mine, lol. Normally, that wouldn't bug me, but he had the audacity to suggest that I shouldn't be lifting weights! He said I should try aerobics and swimming instead, lol. So, being a bit peeved, I asked him what he did for exercise in my best gym-bunny voice, and he said he was a runner.
I just smiled, picked up the biggest package of creatine I saw, and said, "Exactly!" Paid for my stuff and walked out, listening to the girl behind the counter laughing her head off.....
Current Stats:
Wt: 120 Bust: 38 Waist:30 1/2 Hips: 35 (Not too awful for 3 months postpartum, lol)
GOAL STATS: As close to 36-24-36 as I can get, lmao
