IntraXCell Highlights:
Boosts Explosive Muscular Strength & Power Output.
Increase Muscle Mass.
Increase Anaerobic Muscular Endurance.
Increase Aerobic Endurance.
Delay Muscular Fatigue - Train Harder & Longer
Increase Muscle Fullness and Vascularity
No Bloating or Water-Retention
While other supplement companies talk a big game, making unsubstantiated claims with no scientific support, Athletic Edge Nutrition is different. We are a new breed of supplement company. We raise the standard, by placing our exact formula (IntraXCell) through the rigors of a scientific research study. In doing so, we want to prove to you that IntraXCell delivers the promised results and will meet and exceed your highest expectations!
A research study, on 18 collegiate wrestlers using IntraXCell for 8 weeks, has just been completed. The results were staggering. IntraXCell caused huge increases in anaerobic strength, power and muscular endurance!
*Kern BD, Robinson TL, Manninen AH. Effects of beta-alanine supplementation on exercise performance during a competitive wrestling season: An 8-week open label pilot study. (Manuscript under review).
How does IntraXCell work?
While beta-alanine is largely responsible for the majority of performance benefits you gain from IntraXCell, there are other contributing factors to the science of IntraXCell. First, we will discuss some key issues occurring during exercise that limit us from reaching our strength and muscle mass goals. We will then explain how IntraXCell effectively targets these limitations.
What stops us from making new muscle gains, big increases in strength and limits us from reaching our full potential?
The sequence of events looks like this:
Our energy systems release large amounts of hydrogen ions(H+) during high intensity exercise.
H+ cause fatigue and cause your muscles pH to drop (become more acidic)
As our muscles pH quickly drops, so does your strength, while muscular fatigue increases
At the same time, fatigue causing free radicals are increased with exercise.
The Result of these events: Strength plummets, fatigue sets in and muscles are not adequately worked. Without sufficient overload, your muscles cannot and will not grow.
How can IntraXCell combat these events?
By dramatically boosting the levels of a powerful H+ buffer inside our muscles called carnosine.
Carnosine is a naturally occurring di-peptide that has the ability to stabilize muscular pH by soaking up (H+)
Carnosine is found in both type I and type II muscle fibers, but is highest in type II muscle fibers. Type II muscle fibers are primarily used in high intensity strength workouts and are most responsive to muscular growth.
By increasing carnosine concentrations in type II muscle fibers, you greatly enhance their ability to buffer/absorb increased amounts of H+ that are released during exercise.
Includes the antioxidants NAC, ALA and Vitamin E, which work synergistically along with carnosine to combat fatigue causing, free radicals.
The End Result: IntraXCell keeps us in an optimal pH range by buffering/absorbing H+, while simultaneously fighting fatigue-causing, free radicals. In doing so, our muscles are able to perform at much higher levels.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: There are a few other beta-alanine, carnosine boosters out there, what makes IntraXCell different?
IntraXCell was the world's first dedicated beta-alanine, carnosine booster in convenient capsule form.
IntraXCell is the first and only stand alone beta-alanine formula that is backed by a research study.
With IntraXCell, you get a large 4 gram dose of Beta-Alanine per day complying to the actual dosage used in the scientific research. Other carnosine boosters put beta-alanine in proprietary blends and do not list the amount, so it's impossible unless the company discloses the actual beta-alanine content for you to know if you are really getting a high enough dose to build up carnosine levels and reap all the benefits!
IntraXCell is designed with no stimulants so it can be taken anytime during the day everyday including late night workout sessions. At Athletic Edge Nutrition we do no recommend taking stimulants everyday, so putting any stimulants in IntraXCell or any Carnosine booster would not be logical from our standpoint.
IntraXCell is a true carnosine booster without the unnecessary fluff that's added to some of the other carnosine boosters currently on the market.
Q: Who can benefit from IntraXCell?
Individuals participating in weight training looking to gain lean muscle mass and increase strength.
Any individual involved in athletic activities where strength, power and muscular endurance are needed.
Active individuals who have reached a training plateau and are looking for something to take them to the next level.
Q: How long will it take for me to start noticing benefits?
Performance benefits typically start occurring in as little as two weeks, although some individuals will notice benefits within one week. As carnosine levels continue to increase, so will the benefits. The most dramatic results are generally experienced within the 3-4 week range, but they don't stop there. Recent research is now showing carnosine levels continue to increase up to at least 12 weeks, so the benefits just keep on getting better which is why we recommend to continuously stay on IntraXCell for at least 3 months to optimize your carnosine levels.
Immediate benefits: Many users experience intense vasodilatation/pumps from the very first time they take their first does of IntraXCell. The reason this occurs is because Beta-Alanine increases carnosine and carnosine is a powerful precursor in generating nitric oxide synthase (NOS). NOS are a group of enzymes necessary for making the powerful vasodilator nitric oxide. Take IntraXCell with SteelEdge prior to exercise and let us know your experience. We are confident that you will be very pleased pumps/vasodilatation from your very first workout.
Q: What other supplements do you recommend to maximize the results when taking IntraXCell?
We recommend our Full Spectrum Pre-Workout Formula, SteelEdge. SteelEdge contains many ingredients that may work synergistically with IntraXCell. On training days, take IntraXCell with SteelEdge to amplify the benefits of each product.
Creatine is another supplement that may work synergistically with IntraXCell and they can certainly be stacked together.
Q: Are their any stimulants in IntraXCell?
No.
Q: Can I take IntraXCell late at night?
Yes.

I just noticed I don't have any leg pictures in there. I will put some up tommorow.
On top of having a great workout today I saw two university baseball players that I used to go to high school with. They were always bigger, faster, and stronger than me. I don't think i'm faster than them, but I am definitely more muscular and stronger now!! :)

Thanks Sapper.
On top of using IXL for the first time today, I also used one of the samples of Steel Edge. I wont give a full review for the Steel Edge today because I brushed my teeth right before drinking it. Steel Edge definitely tasted good and mixed well, only a few little pieces at the bottom, no big deal. I felt very energetic and focused after drinking the Steel Edge, ready to hit the gym.

Gym Notes: These are taken directly from what I have written in my notebook. Felt stronger than usual on lat raieses. Lots of energy felt great, felt strong in all my lifts. Was going to do bent over lat raises but they are too painful for my shoulders lately. I also had a hot girl give me her phone number in the gym!!! What!! This has never happened, must be a result of the IntraXCell and Steel Edge... lol. I set two PR's today, I can't say it was a direct result of Steel Edge but I felt very strong throughout my workout today.

A few questions/comments:
1. Now that you have tried SE, I suggest utilizing our AEN dosage timing tip- Drink half preWo and sip on the other half duringWO
2. Try going up to 1.5 packs and see how it compares to 1 packet. This will help in dialing in your optimum dose.
3. Did IXL cause any prickling?

This can be directly attributed to our products, as many users have experienced"increased GAME' when using the AEN stack..;)
Take Mr.Farang for example. Since getting on the AEN stack, bamm!! he has fathered many of our very own forum members. He was a nobody before hand.:p

I took the three caps prewo about 10 minutes prior. Only because I had to work and forgot to take them at work, so the timing was off by a few minutes. I didn't take any steel edge, my workout was after 8pm. Only thing i took them with was Green MAG, which i usually take PWO but I was really thirsty and wanted some Green MAG.

Thanks for the compliments guys. It helps motivate me, even though I am highly motivated for lifting. The more I read about the science behind Beta-Alanine and other peoples reviews the more excited I am about this product. If I really like it withing the next couple weeks, I'll continue takining IntraXCell for two more months.

Thank you sir. :)

Lookin good!!! IntraXCell really rocked my socks when i tested it! I love it!

Very nice, IntraXCell is already looked at as a staple supplement for many people along with protein, creatine and fish oils. :)

I consumed one half of a Steel Edge shake prior to working out, and the other half during the workout. I felt pretty strong throughout the workout. I also had what I think is a caffeine buzz most of the workout too. I don't consume much caffeine. Felt a few prickles in my hands shortly into my workout. A few prickles after the workout, but I also tanned right after the workout so I'm feeling my skin being fried more than anything. Overall good workout and good mood.
Glad you used the AEN timing tip with SteelEdge. Great workout.

I'm looking forward to the prickles...I haven't gotten any of that yet. Plus I completely agree on the SteelEdge. I'm sort of a recovering stim junkie, so I didnt expect the kick it gave me, but that stuff does its job and then some...great product

First time trying the smith rows, which can explain why my numbers are a little weird on them. They were somewhat tough on the forearms with a close grip. Low back felt super pumped after low back extensions. I mixed up the order of exercises today.Biceps got a pretty big pump early in the workout making it a little more difficult to do lat pull downs.

No problem at all man. Just remember, that there are alot of people that lurk around logs, but dont actually post anything. Just because a ton of posts arent made doesnt mean people are not stopping in and reading what you have to say. Logs are a great form of motivation and also give you a chance to give some feedback and help others make a better informed decision about a product. So far your log has been great. Keep up the awsome work.

Drank half of one Steel Edge serving prior to going to the gym. Filled the rest of my shaker up with water, consumed the rest during my workout. I really really like Steel Edge. I had great focus, energy, and felt very strong today. If you look at last weeks chest workout you can see that I stepped it up in terms of weight this week. I will definitely be using Steel Edge as my preWO supplement of choice from now on. Overall I had a very good workout, my chest did not seem to fatigue as much today. I'm thinking that the IXL might be kicking in at this point. I haven't been getting prickles anymore, even when taking IXL on an empty stomach. However, I was in the store after my workout. I sneezed and got tingles in my hands and feet for just a second. Maybe someone can explain that to me???
I dont mean to ramble on now. But I took a look at the ingredients for Steel Edge today. I must say AEN really knew what they were doing when they developed this. I am sold on the Steel Edge.

way to be on the bench bro...today was day 8 for me and i can already feel my endurance/strength goin up and up
Ya man, I know what you are talking about with the sneezing tingles. I tend to not get BA tingles anymore, except if I get a big blood rush. For example, if i shake my hands with my arms down at my side, my fingers tingle. One other thing I noticed is that I get tingles from BA if I get an adrenaline rush. I was driving home from the gym the other day, just after my Purple Wraath serving, and a car pulled in front of me. It sorta got my adrenaline going and I noticed some full body BA tingles for a little bit. It was sorta weird.

Sure, most types of neurological responses will trigger the prickling from beta-alanine. A quick onset of goose bumps, a startling reaction. btw, I have used this on friends after having them take IntraXCell. :)

Thank you for the compliments, it's truly nice to hear when someone can recognize and appreciate the formulations behind out products.
So many people just want to see the same stuff over and over,..i.e.. another creatine/AAGK, caffeine pump product ,,blabla. It's like many customers think, if we don't have all the same ingredients as the rest of the preWO products, that somehow SE is lacking. :) They couldn't be MORE wrong, as SteelEdge users will tell you.
We design our formula's from the ground up and follow no one. Baring in mind I have ZERO confidence in the "science" in this industry, so following/copying isn't even an option. What we do follow, is the ACTUAL research published in peer journals when we design our formulations.

I don't typically do a strictly cardio day in the gym, however, my work schedule this week prevents me from getting shoulder/traps day in. I took 3 caps of IXL pre and post as per usual. I felt great during all the cardio I did today. My endurance was very high.
I started with 1 mile of sprintervals. Followed by ten minutes of bike sport intervals. Then some standing calf raises and donkey calves. Six minutes on the elliptical, my quads were still sore so I had to stop. Then a mile on the treadmill.
Again, I felt that I had very high endurance, higher than usual. I could attribute this to IXL. If my endurance is up this far in about two weeks I can't wait to see how high it is after a month, possibly three months :D

When I get to the gym I fill the bottle up again with water. This gives me about enough Steel Edge for the whole workout.
I felt incredibly strong in everything today. As you can see I supersetted all of my lifts. The entire arm workout was completed in less than an hour with a workout partner. We were alternating lifting, I would complete my set, he would complete his. Pretty fast paced workout.

lol.. I usually go below parallel with 225 but anything more Im usually right at parallel or just below..
Oh yeah Im back!
Yeah, same as me with squats. It's funny when I see some guys looking at me while I'm doing squats, then when I'm finished they go load up more weight than me but dont come close to being parallel... I just laugh.

lol.. I love that they stare at you then put more weight on.. and do like 1/4 reps and make a lot of noise trying to impress people...noobs are like wow thats a lot weight, where as people like us "intermediate lifters" are like WTF why are you wasting your time and taking up the squat rack!!!
Or when I do DL's other "big guys" are like what are those?
Or Personal Trainers tell the peolpe they are working with..those are so bad for your body..blah blah blah lets go do some tricep kick backs...lol

Workout Notes:
Used my patented Steel Edge consumption technique again today. Mix one serving with 20 ozs. Drink half before workout. Fill the shaker up to 20 oz again and drink the rest during workout. I love this method.
Anyway. I felt like I had a very good workout overall. I couldn't put up quite as much weight as I would have like to because my triceps were sore from doing a heavy arm workout two days ago. I felt that my incline press and db presses suffered a little bit. I also had some pain in my right elbow again this week. It started last week. I felt it during cable moves both weeks. Nothing major. I might go a little lighter next week with chest.
Overall a good workout.

haha....love how you have a "patent" on how you dose SteelEdge :p
Great workout!
Nice workout man. Sucks about the elbow pain. Are you/have you ever tried glucosamine. I started to get some elbow pain a little while back and started using a glucosamine, chondroitin, and msm product. It really helped out and I dont have much, if any elbow joint pain anymore.

I picked up some Glucosamine Hydrochloride 1500mg MSM 1500mg last friday after my chest workout. I was searching around on the bb.com forums for Glucosamine Hydrocholoride and found quite a few posts saying it doesnt actually work. I'll have to pick a new joint supplement. I just havent found a good priced one yet.

Hmm, I dont have experience with Hydrocholoride. I've only used the Sulfate, which has worked well. If you can take back the stuff you already have, then do it. If they wont take it back, there probably would be no harm in at least giving it a try and seeing if it helps while you look for something different.

The power is getting cut off because you paid for your gym membership instead of the power bill
and your internet is getting cancelled because of the increase in WHEY prices..you bought 8 10lb bags instead of paying them
