I like 3 caps pre..but I'm also a fan of the paresthesia. You can try a bunch of different things, find out what you like best really. As long as you get in your 6 caps per day you should be fine.
Awesome formate by the way, another great looking log!

yes, you will see the directions on the bottle are PIN point accurate. The ONLY reason I would say NOT to take your dosage pre/postWO would be if you find the prickling bothersome during your workout.
Other than that, 3 caps preWO and 3 caps postWO.
Also, if you are going to get the prickling at all, you will certainly get it from 3 caps at a time. If you don't, it's unlikely that 6 caps will bring it on.

Overview:
First day on IXL! I popped 3 pills in about 10 minutes before my workout, didn't feel anything for a while and then I started getting itchy. I have a feeling this is the tingling that y'all were talking about. It was very minimal, but my chest and face felt kind of irritated. AT first I thought that it was the sweat that was causing some sort of allergic reaction but it continued throughout my workout and remained after my shower as well. But when I took those three pills after my workout I got no tingling at all... Workout wise, I didn't feel anything out of the ordinary today, although I was sweating A LOT more than usual. Not sure if that was the IXL or just some more intensity on my part but it was nice nonetheless. One other thing I noticed is after my 2nd set of leg presses I got pretty dizzy. Again I am not sure if that was the IXL or some bad nutrition on my part but I should get a better feeling tomorrow. I will also be using SteelEdge tomorrow and I am especially excited to see how that affects my performance in the gym!
General Thought on IXL:
This is one good looking product, but it reeks! :D I think there is a reason AEN made this in pill form! :)

This is one good looking product, but it reeks! :D I think there is a reason AEN made this in pill form! :)
Yes, the NAC content in IntraXCell emits the sulpherious/egg odor. It usually gets worse as you get towards the bottom of the bottle. :) We did include a desiccant or two to absorb some of the odor, but it obviously can't be masked. :p
And yes, this is ONE of the reasons we designed IntraXCell as a capsule. Another reason is, there wasn't a single capsule beta-alanine product like IntraXCell in the WORLD. From an innovative and marketing, this is quite desirable to say the least. :)
Lastly the ALA in IntraXCell is not pleasant to drink and can be slightly burning on the throat when taken in powder.
This formula was meant to be capped. While it seemed VERY obvious to me why we capped it. We got a TON of comments, like why cap beta-alanine as it's tasteless..lol But for the points mentioned above, that was NOT the reason we capped it.

I still get dizzy on leg presses. I always have. Well actually it's more of a light headedness than being dizzy. I usually have to stand still for a couple seconds after a heavy press. haha. Just lets me know I'm putting all I can into it.

Overview:
THIS IS HONESTLY THE BEST WORKOUT I HAVE EVER HAD. I took SteelEdge and IXL about 20 minutes before my workout. The tingling started during my preacher curls but it felt great! Intensity was off the walls. I was able to increase weight AND reps on virtually ALL of my exercises. I felt outstanding. I see the same guys every day when I'm at the gym and I swear to god they were ****ing shocked out how much weight I was putting up. And I read in one of the other blogs about some guy getting as chicks phone number while taking IXL/Steeledge. Well make that two hahaha. She was a cutie in tight green shorts. :D Seriously though, INSANE workout, crazy pump, and just a whole lot of confidence. Another thing to note is that I was taking less rest between my sets and my workout was about 15 minutes shorter than usual and I even added some exercises. STEELEDGE IS RIDICULOUS! Not sure about IXL yet, time will tell, but I can confirm today that that itching/tingling was from the IXL. I've gotten used to it and I kind of like it now. I really hope that this pump is not going to fade as I keep using SteelEdge because today was ridiculous. I CAN NOT wait to see what this stuff does to my bench.
Thoughts on Steeledge:
Well, it should be pretty obvious that I loved this stuff, I can't even begin to tell you how much it boosted my performance. Not only that but it made m arms look bigger! I was wearing an XL nike shirt that usually hangs loose around my biceps and it was fairly tight by the time my workout was over, SICK! As for taste, honeslty, STeelEdge does not taste that great, I would rate the taste a 6/10. At this point however, I couldn't care less because the stuff is insane. I was tripping out! I seriously did not think SteelEdge would have such a huge impact on my workout, but it did, and I am stoked.

You're right about IntraXcell it will take some time to build up carn in your muscles.

Alot of people underestimate SteelEdge..until they try it. :) The combo of neurotransmitter and adrenaline precursors, all well dosed and sparked off with caffeine, makes for a very potent intensity/focus formula. There's only 200mg of caffeine in SteelEdge, but it hits WAY harder and differently than the equivalent dose of caffeine alone. It has to be experienced to understand, because you can't really tell just by looking at the supplement panel.

AWESOME! When is this next product going to be announced?!
Hopefully soon, but I can't give out an ETA unfortunately. It's already taken much longer than we originally anticipated and has been tweaked more times than I care to think about. :)
AEN is truly a labs worst nightmare, as we get so involved with every minute aspect of our products development. Even our packaging is neurotic..lol with details like our lids made in our own custom shade of red...ect..ect..:D
While it may take us longer to come out with new products, for the above reasons, as well as us doing a lot of in the trenches/gym testing. After all is said and done and the product has been put through its paces and exceeded our expectations, we will release it to the general public and our many fervent AEN fans who have been so patiently waiting. We want our supporters to get the best possible products from us, so just hang in there and we will keep everyone posted as it get closer. :)

Overview:
OK workout. But not the kind of day I was hoping for.
SteelEdge: I was expecting a lot more from SteelEdge today, especially after that kick ass workout I had yesterday. I think my lack of performance was probably because of that workout, and put into perspective, I did better today than I probably would have if I wasn't on SteelEdge... I mean my biceps were raw. Taste is actually not as big of an issue anymore. I'm mixing it with less water and just downing it so it's not that bad.
IXL: Well I still think it's a little too early to tell what this is doing for me. A lot of tingling today but it didn't bother me at all, it's great to know that something is going on inside my body! I accidentally dropped my first pill into my water bottle, so I had to down the whole thing before the blue casing dissolved. What a mish.

Overview:
This was just another GREAT WORKOUT on IXL and SteelEdge. No tingling today but crazy pumps that allowed me to maintain and improve my crazy stats from last week. It's official, SteelEdge is ridiculous.
Thoughts on Steeledge:
I know I rated taste a 6/10 last week but it is really growing on me, I'm going to bump that up to a 7.5/10. (It tastes better if you mix it with less water) My only complaint is that although it mixes fairly well, there is always a bit of residue to ends up wasted in my water bottle... Great product.
Thoughts on IXL
Still too early to tell? The pills look good and I'm still taking 3 pre, 3 post workout. Tingling is gone.

Good workout. I'm thinking I might change to an 8 day program per the recommendation of a couple comments on my workout log. I don't think I'm giving myself enough rest with this 7 day schedule. I will start this new schedule on Monday.
SteelEdge: This stuff never seizes to amaze me. Great pumps, arms and chest feel like they explode during workouts... simply awesome. Question for Sebastian - I was reading some other IXL logs and people are taking half a serving pre workout and then sipping the rest during workout. Does this increase the effect? I'm thinking I will try it out on Monday if it does.
IXL: The tingling is gone. I still think it's a little too early to notice anything but I will continue to write down any obscurities in my workout when they happen. Recommendation -- the supp bottle looks great, have you all considered making shirts out of this?

I am not Sebastian, but my names starts with an "S" :p
Yes, splitting up the dose of SE gives you a steady stream of energy throughout your entire workout. Most users LOVE this method of dosing SE. I take a 1/2 scoop 20 minutes pre-workout, and sip the other 1/2 during my workout.....its much better than chugging it all at once IMO.

Sounds awesome man. You might want to think about getting some whole foods into the first half of your day- Your first three meals are drinks. You should definitely get some oats, brown rice, or sweet potatoes into the first half of your day. You need those carbs early in the day!

Overview:
Although there is no green today I feel like I had a pretty good workout. I'm keeping the numbers up and my technique is getting better. Good stuff is happening. You probaky all noticed that today's chest/tris day had considerably more exercises than in the best. I added shoulders to my chest day, hence the extra exercises.
SteelEdge: half and half again today --> this is definitely a great alternative to chugging the entire packet pre workout. Again some great pumps today, to the extent that it really boosted my confidence.
IXL: LOTS of tingling today! Not sure why considering it seemed to have subsided considerably during the past week. I calculated my rest time between sets today and it has gone down to about 40 seconds! This is a big improvement, as I was probably waiting around 1m30s when I started this log. I think this stuff is going to start impressing me a lot very soon. I will keep you all posted.

68 minutes today, but that is still way shorter than they used to be and I added quite a few exercises...
EDIT: I'm going to start logging my workout times now. Thanks mate

Yep i took 6 all at once one day and my legs started to feel really prickly. I stood up to see if could figure out what was going on, then remembered... Thats IXL's way of telling you it's working. So i smiled.
6 caps at once can be quite intense to say the least, especially if you are inactive when it's happening.
Good to hear the AEN timing tip is working for you with the SteelEdge. It is my favorite way for sure.
The reduced rest time between sets from IntraXCell, is undeniable. :) I also thing, this is partly responsible for why many people sweat so much more when taking IXL.
lol, you know I only feel it in my face. wierd but I like it!

Overview:
Again lots of tingling today, I think this is because I've been slacking on my diet, and a severe decrease in my food intake is increasing the sensation. <-- I REALLY need to get on top of this. GREAT workout though!
Thoughts on IXL:
WOW, I think this stuff has finally started to really kick in. I had an insane leg workout today. My rest time was VERY minimal between sets and in some cases I was able to put up significantly more than I ever had before (Keep in mind that I didn't do legs prior to starting this log so I am experiencing some newbie gains). LOTS of sweat, to the point where I had a lot of trouble taking my shirt off to get into the shower :D. IXL IS INSANE, I think it's effect is especially evident on leg days!!!

:)..Yes, many of you guys are getting close to the two week mark, which it typically when IntraXCell REALLY starts to kick in. Still week 3,4 and beyond, will blow away week 1-2 .:)
Fantastic feedback, keep it up!

I was very suprised when my "pre-IntraXCell" leg days seemed easy after I had been on IXL for 2-3 weeks......I started doing all supersets and only resting 30-60 seconds in-between sets, just to wear myself out. Good times :)

Overview:
This was my last day on SteelEdge. So it was a depressing workout but nonetheless a fantastic one. I'm really glad I'm keeping all this weight up. I am still working on improving my diet. I felt really good in the gym today.
Thoughts on Steeledge:
I'm sad my samples are done and I must say that I have been very impressed with this product. I am definitely going to go out and buy a tub with my next supplement purchase (once I run out of whey -- cheaper shipping if I wait :D!). While taste isn't the best 8/10 is generous, this stuff kicks in right away and is even better if you drink it with the half and half method, taking half pre workout and sipping on the rest during workout. Great pumps and undeniable energy boosts. I love it.
Thoughts on IXL:
Ah the infamous magic blue pills. These are finally kicking in and the tingling is still there, AWESOME! Ironically, I now only feel the tingling when I am working out and not when I take 6 at once on my off days! Maybe the sweat has something to do with it? I'll be able to judge this product better tomorrow and for the remainder of this log as I won't be on SteelEdge so it won't cloud my judgment! :D

Thoughts on IXL:
I love this stuff on leg days. I think my workout was effected somewhat by my lack of energy but I could still see IXL working hard. This was another short workout with very minimal rest time. On the leg presses and squats, I often founded myself taking a as short as a 15s water break and then back to some more reps.

125 x 10
125 x 8
Pull Ups
BW x 6
BW x 5
BW x 5
BW x 4
I think it is important to note that with pullups, I start with my arms fully extended, pull all the way up until my lower chest is touching the bar, then go down slowly until my arms are fully extended, I hang from 1 to 2 seconds (without touching the ground obviously) and then begin another repetition. If I half-assed these like I see a lot of guys doing at the gym, I could definitely do more that 10.
Overview:
When I was walking into the gym, my left bicep slammed into the lobby door and left a pretty nasty bruise. End result it was really sore so had to take it a little easy on the biceps. Remarkably, my weight really didn't decrease much at all!
Thoughts on IXL:
Well I think IXL made up for my strained left bicep today. My performance did not suffer and although I had to decrease some of the reps my rest time was unchanged. Very sweaty today and I felt more tingling that usual. My biceps were extremely sore after the gym today and my back actually felt a little under the weather as well.

The free Barbel Bench Press really got me down today. Since Ive been doing them fixed for the past couple weeks and putting on more and more weight I figured I woud be relatively close to those numbers when I transitioned back. Numbers were overall pretty low today so it's still probably a little higher. Got to eat!
IXL: No tingling (funny how this is on and off. Rest time was short as usual on the majority of exercises, btu for the Dumbbell Incline Press, I was taking a lot of time and I was having an especially hard time with these... Don't knwo why.
