Olympia Report with a couple pics (675 Rack dead)

I'm back :)

The Olympia went very well. The Scivation/PrimaForce was a big success. Meeting and working with Layne (Srt8Flexed), Marc Lobliner (Scivation/PrimaForce President), and Travis Mash (strongest pound for pound powerlifter ever) was awesome. We got some awesome workouts in, grubbed a ton of food, and promoted Scivation/PrimaForce.

We did back on Thursday. We started with Rack deads. We did 495, which was easy, so we threw another 45 on each side, giving us 585. I did 550 last week, so I figured I could get this. Both Marc and I got this for 3 reps. Then we threw another 25 on each side, giving us 635. Marc and I both got 3 reps. I thought we were done, then Marc looked at me and said "let's throw the 45's on." So we did :D, which gave use 675 (125 lbs more than what I did last week). Marc and I both got a rep (perfect form) with it. I'm attaching a couple pics of the deads. First two are of 635 and the last one is of 675.

The next day we did chest. Layne lead the way with his 140 lb incline DB presses for 6 solid reps. I got 2 by myself and one assisted (2 pics). We then preceded to do dropsets on everything :)

The Olympia competition was pretty sweet. I was in the 7th row. The minute I saw Ronnie, it was obvious he had it won.

Well, I have to do some homework, so I guess that's it for now.

Is Marc this guy with the giant pecs I saw in the photo gallery?

That picture of him deadlifting reminded me of it.

If so, those are among the best pecs I have ever seen, and that's including the pros.

If not, Marc still has great giant pecs.

I only got 6 plates. But in my defense it was my first time ever doing them and I didn't use straps.

Damn, sorry I missed out on talking with you guys at the expo. Like I told Str8, I think I walked up and down every aisle 3 times at the expo and must've not even been paying attention. I was probably distracted by all the fitness girls (which by the way was tough to not stare too long with my girlfriend right next to me).

Looks like you guys had an awesome time getting together and lifting though, I was out partying Friday night (at the Hard Rock) but trust me I think I would've rather got one of those insane workouts in and learned some things.

I'm flying out to visit my girlfriend in Columbus during the Arnold Classic weekend so keep us posted if you guys are going to get together for the Primaforce booth again. Notice I didn't mention anything about the game on Saturday either Derek :) so frustrating being an MSU fan.
