Terminology?

What would be the best guide as far as what to call different varieties of supplements, nutrients, antioxidants, vitamins, herbs, steroids, and the like? I'm looking for a naming convention guide that would be able to classify these substances in the best/most accurate sense.

Naming convention..... I'm thinking that it's mainly a bunch of people having a brainstorming session inhouse who try to predict the way the buyer will respond to the name of the product. Kind of like them knowing that Dianabol works so if they name their product Deanobol and throw in a bunch of exotic terminology and big medical words and quote some study that was probably never done,...then the average buyer will really be impressed and buy the stuff.
