I read the thread at avant with you and layne's chat transcript. A bit curious about your training, what exactly is meant by 'tension' days and in what fashion are you periodizing your volume? Ive been looking at your posted workouts but having some trouble putting all the pieces together. thanks

We were just rolling off ideas with that chat.
Tension is used to describe the amount of weight used. So squating 405 placed greater tension on the quads than squatting 315.
As for my volume, I buildup over a 4 week period (for specific muscles at a time), reach a peak during week 4. Then during weeks 5 and 6 I decrease the volume and focus on a lower rep range.
