Hey guys, i KNow this has nothing to do with body building, but a girl should always have a HOT room. So i need your help with my room.
We just moved and for the first time ever my room is all pink (everything, but the ceiling which is white)
So can you guys suggest anything? I am tired of looking at it being all plain. If you guys can suggest any other color to go with it or any other way to glam it up.
Any ideas on what your room looks like? pictures, your dream room? Discuss
Thankyou
Here are some pictures of my room=]

I would paint to walls a darker, but more neutral color and add bright colors here and there with colorful blankets, pillows, wall hangings, etc.. It looks better to my tastes like that. It's harder to decorate when you have bright walls, as it can easily overpower everything. Not that your walls right now are bright. I would rearrange the furniture. From what I can see from your pictures, it looks like there's a lot of clutter around your bed. If you could take a picture of your entire room, it would be more helpful though.

What other color can i add to my room? red, orange, green? i looked up a few canopy's online. I like the orange one. Does it look good with pink or should have those in my room at all?
I have beaded cutains behind my bed beacuse my bed doesnt have a headboard.

My decor is less girly - but I think it's pretty hot.
My sheets are deep red, watercolor (mottled), the furniture is either antiqued black or dark chocolate wood and simple in shape. Pillows in reds and rich oranges and a little yellow.
I have a large yellow silk screen on the wall with cranes on it.
Jewelry box is tan with japanese characters and black lacquer touches. A matching vase with a large silk red ginger flower.
A table has a leopard print sheet thrown over it, and holds a small Thai spirit house, and a deep red candle plate with black, red and brown candles... sensual and exotic.

I think the orange would work well in your room. A little green, but I would keep it to smaller objects. Blues, too - like a light turquoise or Tiffany blue.

one thing you definitely need to have a hot room is a bed bigger than that one, with a headboard.

Green, Brown, and Pink work well together, but if you have the option I would def. paint the walls another color. It can be overpowering when the walls and carpet are the same color.
You could go with a color like Camelback by Sherwin Williams on the walls and the use lots of jelewed pinks and bright whites as accents=)
I'm a kitchen and bath designer. Only reason I know paint colors by memory, lol!!!

I was thinking of green, but never thought brown would work too. What do you think of orange or a darker pink?
I was thinking if i can paint my walls a darker pink then i can accessorise in white or green. As colors will start standing out then. Right now white and other light shades wont stand out with the light pink.
How would it look if i have the same carpet, but paint my room a darker pink.
My room is similar to the color rose color-6303 by sherwin williams. My carpet is exactly the same color.
How about i paint the walls feverish pink-6859 by sherwin williams?
LOL i actually went to the website and lookedup the colors=]

A bigger bed is going to cost me a lot of money, which i cant afford to spend right now, as i am paying for my college as well. Any other suggestions, like adding colors or painting?

umm I dont think its going to matter what you put on the walls because having a pink carpet will cancel out all the coolness. BTW you should prolly try to have a classy room more than a hot room. AND A BIG (NO HOMO)(NO KALAGAN)

Cant do anything about the carpet, and considering that im a girl and girls like pink it isnt all that uncool to have pink carpet.
I am sure other girls would say the same=]
Anything else you would suggest

Ya, Brown, green, and pink are pretty hot right now. However, I usually use the pink in color splashes here and there. Being that your carpet is pink it may be hard to work with.
I would steer clear of using color on the walls. It would be different if you had a neutral floor, but since there pink it may make the room look like a bad Brittney dream.
If you like orange you could use it too. Maybe somethins like...... pink carpet, camelback walls, off white trim, white bedding with pink, camel, and orange throw pillows. Your window coverings could be white with pink and orange jewled fringe sewed to the bottom. Then add some accesories.....
