Hello everybody,

I have a BIG problem. I have been going to the gym since I was 15. I am 24 now. I still go to the gym at least 4 times a week. I do 45-60 min. of cardio (bike+walking with inclination on treadmill). Then I do different toning exercises. I do not really lift weights. I do some exercises with weights for my arms and I do squats. I do a lot of exercises for my abs with ankleweights. This is where the problem is. My ABS. I want to be able to see my abs. I already started changing my diet. I also started drinking 3 liters of water every day. I started taking hydroxycut this week. I also ordered nitrotech about 30 minutes ago. I do not want to be too skinny. My goal is: I want to lose body fat, but I still want a shapely body. I would like to gain a few pounds. Please, I really appreciate any advice that you can give me. Also if I should take different supplements or if you think something I am doing is not right let me know. I wanna be more toned but not butchy. My shoulders are already a little wider than my hips. I hope this is enough info. I am desperate!

Well, cutting your bodyfat down is a step in the right direction. I've been told that people have to cut down to around 8% BF to really see those abs.

Also, there is no rule book saying that if you lift, you have to look "butchy" (And butchy is a pretty derogatory term. What look s manly to you can look very womanly to someone else. It's all a matter of perspective.)

Many women use lifting as a way to shape and tone their bodies. In fact if you look at some of the best bodies in Hollywood, they belong to woemn who aren't afraid to hit the weights. Janet Jackson, Maddona, Halle Berry all use weight in their routines. Do they look butchy? :)

I would look into a high rep, low weight routine and see how you like the results. I'm pretty sure you will start to look the way you like. :)
