Is anyone familiar with his encyclopedia and does anyone have thoughts about or results from it to share? I am currently following his book but I have modified certain aspects for a female. Just wanted to know if there are any suggestions - I like the results thus far but the time spent is extensive.

What exactly are you looking for from the book? I don't actually use any of the outlined programs (even though they are perfectly acceptable for a female) but I keep it as a good reference, particularly for exercises.

I found what I was looking for: exercises, diet, etc. I just wanted to know if there is a shorter version with the same results by chance.

I find many of those books are vague. To be honest, when I began bodybuilding some 16 years ago, I bought nearly all those books. I learned the basics, but never saw any dramatic results.
I don't find where any of those teach real fat loss through methods that acutally work, like carb rotation, calorie cycling, fat loading for hardening up, progressive cardio. That's the reason I write on that information now...it's not out there.
Through trail and error I found what works, and it's not in those books on the book shelf. www.theelitephysique.com

Arnold advocates way too much volume.
