I think you do cable flyes. But a lot of people say flyes are useless. Are they usless? Cna they build mass?

I don't do DB flies, but I feel cable flies have benefit.
When you do DB flies, you are essentially doing a DB press but stretching the biceps. The pectoralis major inserts into the lateral lip of the intertubercular groove on the humerus. In both flies and presses, you stretch the pecs the same amount as the position of the humerus is the same in both exercises. Flies feel like they are providing a "better stretch" because they are stretching the biceps, which make it so you have to use less weight. I feel DB presses are superior to flies because of this.
