What macros does everyone find works best for cutting in the final 4 wks before a show? I am at this stage, still have some bf to get rid of but loose muscle easy. I am currently at about 20%c, 50%p, 30%f. My carbs ussuallyrange from 15-20% depending on my fat intake for the day. Im at about 1500 cals/d (weigh about 118 right now, I am f 5'5). Any advice or notes from past experiences would be appreciated. Thanks.

it really depends on several factors, there is no one size fits all

at this stage, still have some bf to get rid of... You're getting rid of your boyfriend? LOL

Seriously though, your percentages look fine. Are you eating whole foods? at this point, you shouldn't be eating anything processed.

YES!!! cut out as much sodium as possible during the last 3 days!!! You should be lowering your protein content to about half your normal amount during these last 3 days as well. All meat contains sodium, and cutting your protein at 3 days out will not have a dramatic negative effect on your size. If you want more content to search, you can find a ton of info at anabolicfitness.infopop.net. I go by the same name there and you can ask me anything...I'm usually over there. We have a competitor's Corner that you can search, as well as a women's forum that has 2 actively posting women in their last 6 weeks before nationals. They both look fantastic and are very helpful.

Good luck!
