I was wondering what are your future goals, plans, and dreams in bodybuilding?

Future Plans/Goals
Complete my bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology in 1.5 years (almost done :))
Short Term: Start writing for printed magazines
Long Term: Write two books (One for bodybuilding and one for the general public)

As far as bodybuilding goes, I do it because I enjoy it. I do not really care about becoming a pro, so whatever happens, happens.

I would love to open my own training facility geared towards athletes. But I'll have to pay off my student loans first :(

Derek, have you ever thought about becoming an IFFB pro? Or attempting to become one?

I've thought about it before. But to be successive in the IFBB, one has to a ton of drugs, which I am not willing to do. That's not to say it would be impossible for me to become an IFBB pro though.

I agree. People like Jeff Willett have managed to get their IFBB pro cards as naturals....however, he is not making much prize money from the sport. The only way it would be worth taking that much drugs is if you knew deep down that you had what it takes to place in the top 10 in the Olympia - and that's where the money and publicity is.

If you were'nt in the top 10, then it would'nt be worth it since the economic returns from putting your health on the line just are'nt there.
