I have been looking for SOMEONE who has knowledge of supplements for women who bodybuild. Every time I go to the health store or online, its MEN MEN MEN...and very little for females. When I ask companies if their products work for women, they say "sure!" but I know its just to sell stuff. Now, is there anyone on THIS board who knows? I don't mean multivitamins, I mean anabolics. No, I am NOT concerned with whether they masculinize or any such crap like that-that just isn't important to me-what is, is building mass and burning fat. I am tired of training hard and heavy and not seeing anything in the way of gains. I am not a typical female in a gym, but I am not, unfortunately, in competition form nor do I want to compete-I just want to see results already. I have lost to date 45 pounds since Jan 2001, have 20 more to go, and really need some GOOD advice...feel free to e mail me at PokemomCT@aol.com if you have any suggestions on companies and decent products. Thanks!

Alyse,

Sounds to me like your doing fine.
Maybe you have stalled because you need to change up your workouts. The body adapts quicklyand gains or fat loss can be limited by this, and I find it is good to change up your workout every 6-10 weeks or so. Many times, I change my workout every 1-2 weeks. Maybe you diet still needs to change. There are supps for women available but unfortunately, most are geared for men. (we spend the most money on this) (though women spend the most on fat loss products).

Maybe Msfit can help you on the supps for women thing.
She knows her Sh%t.

Anyway, good luck.

e-mail me at peggy@peggyschoolcraft.com and let me know what you are using and I can advise! I have been drug free my entire career and which supplements to take can be confusing!
