How big are you and how much can you lift?
If you are over 170 and can work out with more than 200, stay away from that one.
Too narrow and to light duty.
You would be better off with a more basic bench with a leg extension, no "fly bars (do dumbells) and an olympic width rack (48" between posts)
You need to get something that is rated for at least 500lbs.
Most of theser "light duty models" are only rated at 300lbs and they feel like it when you get on them.
It is going to cost you more at the beginning but you won't need to replace it in a year.
Look fopr a similar style

Even better would be to try and get a separate bench and power rack with external pins.
Good luck, buy the best you can afford and you won't be stuck with the "I wish I woulda" syndrome.

Why can't you get a gym membership?

I agree with CTGblue,IMO those things are made cheap. and cannot support alot of weight. Your best bet is to buy a good bench from the beginning so you dont have to replace it in the future. BTW why cant you get a gym membership.

I may be late to the party here, but anyting that cheap, er inexpensive, can't be any good. I just bought a bench and it was $229. It just does incline, decline and flat. And it had a leg extension accessory too. It's solid and looks good. And as a bonus, it's comfortable to sit on and relax after a killer workout.
But a $69 do nothing bench would scare me, let alone one with all that stuff that this one you're looking at has. Buyer beware.
I'm way late on this, so tell me, did you buy this one or another one?

On the subject of gym memberships, I don't have time to drive to the gym and back. I'm short on training time period. I like the idea of going out into my private gym (i.e., the garage) and working out to MY music, at MY pace, on MY equipment. Plus, my wife uses it as well. We've bought some good quality stuff and enjoy using it. I would love to train at a professional gym but I just haven't the time. Perhaps after I win the Powerball jackpot I can do that. Ha.

I don't wanna get a membership because
1. I prefer to workout in my house
2. I'm going away to college this fall, and won't get much use out of it.
I just want a bench to use until August, and when I come home on breaks.
I guess I'm gonna be saving my money for a better bench.

Is this a good bench?

I wouldn't call that a bench. That's a "workout machine".

I am 43 and weigh about 290 pounds. I started one year ago on a similar setup from wal mart. It cost about $65 and had a lat attachment. The box it came in stated a 600 pound capacity but the unit itself had a 300 pound capacity label. It did ok. It got me going.
I now have a powerhouse 9, which is a half cage, cables, and with a seperate bench. It runs about $250.00. Much better.
If that's all you can afford, go for it. Check thrift stores and garage sales as well. A cheap bench will build bigger muscles than no bench at all. Dedication is the key - not the equipment.
Rep on, dude
I looked at those benches from Wal-mart, Models, Dick's Sporting Goods, Sears and saw the Body-Solid benches and there is no comparison. I purchased the Body-Solid Combo bench and it's as close to commercial gym quality as you can get. Spend the extra $$ - it's worth it.

A good question ask GMF is how serious is he/she about exercising and how much is budgeted. I think the key is to buy the best equipment for the money that is available.
I only had $65 so wal mart was it. I progressed upward on the bench since then but I still have standard weights (not olympic). My next step is olympic weights and eventually a nice full cage.
Since I have today off, I am gonna build a sled and drag it around my pasture.
