This is a sponsored 7-Day log CEL's Nox Surge(Blue Raz).

Note: I am not going to get into detail about measurements and everything like that since this is only going to be a 7-day log. My main focus will be on reviewing the product workout by workout. Anyway, without further ado.

Diet: Around 3000+ cals right now(maintenance as I have no choice right now). I am poor right now so I'm neither cutting nor bulking....just maintaining what I got.

Day 1: Chest Day.

Flat Bench:
15 Reps of 225
10 Reps of 250
8 Reps of 275
6 Reps of 300
4 Reps of 325
2 Reps of 350

Incline Bench:
10 Reps of 205
2 Sets of 225
1 Set of 250

Decline Bench:
10 Reps of 225
8 Reps of 250
6 Reps of 275
4 Reps of 300
2 Reps of 325

Pec Flyes:
15 Reps using 35lb'ers(3 Sets)

Cardio/Ab Workouts after for about 45 mins.

Day 1 Review:

Taste: 8 out of 10. Pretty good, but not as good as Gaspari's Blue Raz Ice. And of course, everything fails to compare to CL's Green Mag.

Strength: 10 out of 10. I felt a difference considering the weights felt lighter. I didn't have to force myself as hard towards the end of my workout.

Vascularity: 9 out of 10. My veins were showing nicely on my forearms and it was chest day....solid!

Pumps: 10 out of 10. The pumps were F'ing awesome. When I was done my chest was exploded, I looked huge....a great feeling.

Energy: 9 out of 10. The energy was great and did give me that boost to bust ass and slaughter the iron.

Endurance: 9 out of 10. I didn't feel fatigue set in until midway through cardio/ab routine.

Recovery: 9.5 out of 10. This product claimed to give good recovery effects as well. It lived up to the billing. I can still tell I kicked my ass, but its more of a hey I worked out, but I'm good to go soreness.

Focus: 8.5 out of 10. I was dialed in ready to rock within 10 mins of taking it. Once I got to the working out there was nothing else in my mind other than the clanking of the iron. However, my focus tapered off towards my cardio/ab routine.

Overall First Impressions: This is a solid product, the results from the first dose surprised me. My expectations were put to shame. However, I will not put my stamp of approval on it just yet as I have 6 more workouts to go through before I give my final two thumbs up! Stay tuned....

Shoulder Workout:

3 sets of front raises, 15 Reps (10 lbs each hand)
3 sets of side lateral raises, 15 Reps (10lbs.)
3 sets of Bent-over lat raises 10 reps (35lb'ers)
3 sets of arnold presses, 10 reps (35lb'ers)
3 sets of shoulder presses, 10 reps (35lb'ers)
3 sets of Behind the neck cable pulldowns, 10 reps (200lbs.)
3 sets of seated military presses, 12 reps of 150lbs., 8 reps of 175lbs., 5 reps of 200lbs.
4 sets of shoulder shrugs, 10 reps of 225lbs., 8 reps of 250lbs., 5 reps of 275lbs., 3 reps of 300lbs.

Cardio/Ab routine after-45 mins.

My initial impressions remain the same except for the taste factor. After taking the NOX Surge for the second time I would actually give it a 7 because it reminds a lot of Controlled Labs White Flood, which taste wise isn't the greatest. It has a bit of an aftertaste, but its not bad. Furthermore, my workout was a bit more intense with the second time of taking it. Note: Definitely make sure you don't eat anything before taking this(give yourself at least 2 hours after eating before taking it like the directions tell you or Nox Surge will work like a laxative). During my first workout, which was my chest day I found that out, however my workout wasn't affected, but it was just annoying is all. I mean you get all pumped and ready to workout and about 5 mins before you go hit the weights you have to hit the toilet up first...grrr! Anyway, I am still liking the effects from the NOX Surge, except for the taste being more of a lemonade type taste instead of Blue Raz. The best effect from the product so far is the decreased soreness from set to set. This is some good stuff!

Bicep Workout:

3 sets of Hammer Curls, 15 reps each set, 35lb'ers(its all I got)
3 sets of Alternating Hammer Curls " " "
3 sets of Spider Curls " " "
3 sets of DB Reverse Curls " " "
3 sets of Reverse Plate Curls, 15 reps each set using 45lb. easy grip plate
4 sets of Straight Bar Bicep Curls (2 sets of 10 reps 135lbs., 1 set of 8 reps 155lbs. , 1 set of 5 reps 175lbs.
3 sets of Straight Bar Reverse Curls, 10 reps each set 135lbs.
4 sets of Straight Bar Wrist Curls, 25 Reps each set 65lbs.(Bar weight plus two 10lb'ers.

Ab/Cardio Routine-45 minutes

Noticeable Changes; The taste is definitely different and reminds of White Flood, but just a bit better. The big changes though is that the third time taking this stuff it hit me hard. My vascularity was nuts. The veins in my forearms looked like they were going to burst and my biceps felt about ready to explode...the pump was phenomenal. I mean the first two times using the NOX Surge the effects were solid, but the third time is when I really noticed a big change. The energy effect has died off a bit though....I mean its there, but it didn't kick in pre-workout. The energy effect didn't hit until I was done with my 3 sets of hammer curls. The focus factor is what was better this time around. Physically I didn't feel the energy rush, but mentally I felt the rush to keep pushing myself which I will take over pre-workout energy anyday. So far, I still say the best feature of this product is its recovery attribute due to the added bcaa/eaa blend(doesn't say how much is in a serving, but something is working). I don't feel as sore from day to day so far and thats nice because sometimes DOMS kicks my ass and I really don't want to workout, but I force myself to anyway, God hates pussies and quitters(lol). There has been an increase in strength from the product as well...I feel I am able to push out more reps comfortably at the end of each set, a definite plus. I am definitely liking the product so far so stay tuned for more....

3 sets of behind the neck tricep presses using straight bar (100 lbs) 15 reps each set
2 sets of close grip bench press @225 10 reps each, 2 sets of close grip bench press @250 5 reps each
5 sets of dips, 20 reps each

Ab/Cardio Routine- 45 minutes

NOX Surge Effects: My ratings remain the same except that the pre-workout drive I had before workouts the first two days is wearing off considerably, my body is adapting to it fast. I have definitely noticed that my strength has been solid since using this and my recovery has been great. The best thing is that this has done wonders for my vascularity, I mean I have veins wanting to pop up all over the place so I would say is definitely doing its job. I would be honest in saying that the energy effects from this after continued use have died off rather fast, but the focus effects have picked up in its place. Once I start hittting the weights the energy kicks in, but its more of a focus where I know I must push forward. I am not surprised that the energy feeling has died off because I am a big guy and my body adapts to stimulants rather fast. However, I would still give this product a solid 8 rating so far because every workout while using it has been pretty damn good. Stay tuned for more....

3 sets of reverse barbell rows, 10 reps @225lbs
5 sets of deadlifts, 10 reps @325lbs, 8 reps @350lbs, 6 reps @375lbs, 4 reps @400lbs, 2 reps @425lbs

Ab/Cardio Routine - 45 minutes

NOX Surge Effects: Well today all I can say is wow! Today's workout was kickass. It was a punishing workout, but I felt really good. My focus and energy were great throughout the workout and the best part of it was I was not sore at all. The energy effect before workout still wasn't there. However, the energy/focus factor was phenomenal during my workout. Instead of pre-workout energy it felt like more of a thermogenic effect today. I was sweating pretty good through this workout. My strength was way up today as I did not start struggling with pushing out my reps until I hit the deadlifts. By the end of my workout my muscles were toast, but I felt good and full energy....it was a great pump that lasted for a while. I am still happy with this product. However, my ratings will not change. I still give this an 8. Thats it for this one, two more workouts to go. Stay tuned....

Well Day 6 of my review was an off day. I took my CEL NOX Surge 30 mins before my softball game and man I felt a world of difference while playing. I did not get tired or fatigued at all during the game. It may sound funny, but I think the NOX Surge help give me an extra spring in my step because I felt a lot faster and smoother while running after fly balls in the outfield and running around the bases. I would definitely say it helped me greatly in the cardio dept. I had a pretty solid game....4-5, 2 triples, inside the park HR, double and a long fly out. I had 8 RBI's for the game( I do bat cleanup in the 4 hole). Final score was 17-6...

Effectiveness: My scores still remain the same, except I'll bump the energy up to a 8.5.

Quick Notes: I omitted a legs workout during this 7-day log because I strained my left quad my last softball game before starting this log up. I was able to do cardio without too much pain, but I felt doing a leg workout would've been too much.

I also just got back to finishing this log up because I forgot to finish it up...I write my results down all the time so it wasn't hard to finish. Just in case you guys were wondering about the time gaps.

Chest Workout:

Same as before except I added 5 lbs to each set of reps previously listed.

Workout Score: This was day 7 and damn it finally really hit on all cylinders. I would say my overall score for the workout was a 9.5/10. I was really throwing the heavier sets around like chump change. Great product. Stay tuned for my final review....Hint: This was definitely better than No-Xplode, except for the taste! NO-X Blue Raz is pretty tasty.

Yeah you could say that. All I can say is once I get working out and the music hits I am in a zone and it is hard to stop until I feel completely spent. I pretty much picked up the idea of how I do my workouts from following the same type of workout protocol as Markus Ruhl, but I do have my own variations of course. I like the 6 days on and one day off. Even on my day off I still do cardio and abs....lol.

I am just glad I got try out the CEL NOX Surge. It was definitely a product I want to try again for a full run. I have my final review I am going to past later tonight when I get home from work, and after my workout of course. So stay tuned for that. My final review should've been done already, but I've been quite busy lately....college homework from hell. Criminology and Criminal Procedures can be a real pain in the ass...lol.

Effects:

Energy: 7.5/10
Pumps: 10/10
Strength: 9.5/10
Recovery: 9.5/10
Endurance: 8/10
Vascularity: 9.5/10
Focus: 8.5/10
Taste: 7/10

Final Score: 8.7/10

As far as a comparison to NO-Xplode goes....CEL NOX Surge kicks NO-Xplode's ASS! It really blows it out of the water. Now don't get me wrong, I am not bagging on NO-Xplode because it does work and it tastes amazing(Blue Raz is tasty...mmm), but the great kick in the pants energy you get pre-workout dies off fast and then personally I felt lethargic 15 minutes into my workout and my focus would drift. There is too much damn caffeine in NO-Xplode, maybe if the caffeine was lowered and there was more glucoronolactone or some ginseng put in there, or they could do away with caffeine and replace it with chocamine. Just some thoughts.

Now, CEL delivers with energy, but I didn't get that burst before workout that I was looking for. Instead the energy hit once I got through my first set of my workouts. The taste wasn't the greatest, but it wasn't terrible either. I honestly feel like it was a White Flood lemonade base with a dab of Blue Raz flavoring.

White Flood's effectiveness is great, but the taste has something left to be desired and thats how I feel about NOX Surge, even though it is slightly better than White Flood(taste wise) effectiveness wise they are a better comparison of each other than NO-Xplode vs CEL NOX Surge.

What I felt really separated CEL NOX Surge away from NO-Xplode is the pumps, strength, and recovery factors. The pumps I got from it were amazing and lasted long after my workouts, about a good solid 2-3 hours afterward. Strength wise I pushing extra reps out on the heavy weights. Instead of doing 5 reps of 300 on the flat bench I would push out 6 and so on. Recovery wise is what I looked most. From set to set I recovered faster and didn't tire out. My muscles felt ready to go each time. However, I can't give it a perfect 10 because the recovery effects would wear off once I got to my cardio/ab routine. Other than that the recovery effects were great.

The Focus was solid all throughout my workouts, but I didn't have that locked in feeling like I was in a zone. Gaspari's SP250(my personal fav) gives me the best focus...I feel like I am in a zone and if someone dare interrupt me they will have to hell to pay because my focus is intense!

Overall, I enjoyed the product and will try a full tub of the product in the future. I would recommend this to anyone who has not tried it yet if they want a solid pre-workout supp. There are different strokes for different folks so some of you may have better results than I did and like it very much, although I did like it myself, but its not in my top 3.

Thanks again CEL. I appreciated the opportunity to test out your NOX Surge product and do a 7-day log for a comparison to NO-Xplode for you.
