After you take creatine for you preworkout meal, how long do you wait befor working out? I dont know about you guys. Check this loading stratgey out

Also how is this loading strategy.

Your first carbohydrate/creatine drink should be consumed during the last 10 minutes of your work out. Muscle cells will be low in energy substrates, and more sensitive to uptake.

Another creatine/carb serve should be taken within the next 30 minutes after the workout. Capitalize on this period. The nutrients you ingest will be absorbed where you want them.

Combine another creatine/carb serving with a large serving of whey protein with in that hour after the workout.

That's it. Seems easy enough, huh? Another way to take creatine is to just take 5 grams a day after you work out. This will take longer for your body to be "filled" with the creatine but its not as wrecking to take it like if you were loading up trust me after a few days of loading up taking it does get old fast.

Ok, judging by what I've learned in my biology class I have a few theories.

If you want more energy and ability to lift more during your workout, then take the creatine about an hour before your workout, with 40 or so grams of carbs. Some people say more, but I think 40 is really all you need. If you want faster recovery, you take your creatine after your workout. ATP is what cells use to power everything, not only muscle contraction, but anabolism as well. Basically creatine gives the cell a place to store the last phosphate bond that is broken off the ATP, and then it is later transferred back to ADP. Also, make sure you're having electrolytes (sodium and pottasium) because they are also very important in creating energy. I love this bio class, because it teaches you why all these supplements work, or don't work.
