ok, i know i need to incorporate some more cardio in my routine in order to cut down some more, but i am terrified i am going to lose too much muscle in the process..

is cardio first thing in the morning on a fasted stomach obviously a bad idea then? or could i take some amino acid's pills to help keep some muscle?

or just keep my cardio limited to days i dont lift, or after my upper body routines?

any thoughts on what works best for you or other relative info would be great..
im one month out from my 2nd show

thnx!
:)

Buy some Extend by Scivation, put 2 -3 scoops in about 12 ounces of water. Start sipping when you start cardio and finish it by the time your session is over. DO NOT buy Amino softgels, by the time the dissolve in your system and uptake your cardio session will be over. Powder's are the way to go for anit-catabolism efects. Extend won't cost you much at your bodyweight you could use 2/3's to 1/2 of what a male competitor would use. It works great for fasted cardio!

I did HIT Cardio this year and was very pleased with it. It difficult to do (if done correctly), but it's quick 14-20 minutes and will spares muscle.

I used Max-OT as my guide. Here's something you should read:

I used it as my guide, but you can look up the more general term High-Intensity-Cardio on Google.
