aerobics bro, and weight training. Of course AAS use helps too if your into that but if not then cardio and weight training. I recently read an article that studied the effects of weight loss on three different groups of people. One group dieted only, the other dieted and did aerobics, the other diet aerobics and weight training. The group that dieted did aerobics and lifted lost the most weight of which 97% i believe was fat. The diet only groups weight loss was somewhere around 60% fat and the other was in between these. So do your cardio or aerobics or whatever you want to call it and lift. Above all, don't starve yourself. You will definately have to diet to shed the fat but don't get too extreme or the body will enter into a state of starvation and hold on to body fat to burn other materials first.

Yeah, I read the same study, and quite a few others. If you play your cards right with cardio, it can actually boost your gains in muscle mass. From all the research I dug up on this topic, the one re-occuring problem was the the people who did both cardio and weight training were in a neg nitrogen balance, even with a "high" protein intake. So keep protein up.
I've actually submitted a 2part article to BB.com on the subject and i used that study as one of my sources....It should be up in the next few days. "anabolic Aerobics"

In reguards to cutting up w/out loosing muscle mass, I would recommend getting a good chest strap heart rate monitor and staying in your taget heart rate zone. The trick is when doing cardio if you go too high on your heart rate you go from primarily burning fat to burning protien and carbs. The way to calculate your target HR zone is 220-age-resting HR. Take that value and multiply by .75 and add the resting HR back to it for the high zone, and multiply the original value by .55 and add your resting HR back to that for your low end of the zone. This is called the Karvonen formula for taget heart rate, which is the most accurate. I would also recommend some MuscleLink Cort-Bloc, which helps suppress the production of cortisol durning work-outs, and also anything with CLA and HMB in it as well. These also help to suppress cortisol. Good luck bud.
