During the last 3 weeks of contest prep should a person use creatine monohydrate...Will the use of creatine bloat you to much?

Just switch over to a Micronized product and you will be ok. THere is a diference between "holding water" and thinking your "holding water" usually someone will use as cop out for not being lean enough :)

Depends on your individual response to creatine. It makes me hold a lil water so i don't use it, but others can and be fine.

what do you mean by i micronized product. any examples. as of right now i am taking a pure form of creatine monohydrate right after my workout. how cheap is the creatine youre suggesting?

As a woman, for years I feared the MIGHTY BLOAT. But I needed a change an figured I'd give it a try.
There's been a lot of discussion about this in the female section so I followed the mass suggestions of NOT loading and only using 1 gram per 40lbs of bodyweight. I'm hovering around 120lbs so I've been taking 3 grams once a day one hour prior to workouts and anytime on rest days.
I have NO bloat what-so-ever and feel I have made great gains in physique (although what I am looking for and what you are looking for vary a tad). Me personally, I will continue to use it right thru my next show before cycling off of it for a few weeks.

I use it too all the way through the last week, thurs/fri drop a little lower, then take about 7 g's on show day
