If someone is a cheater, he (or she) is a cheater. If he would cheat on her, he probably would have eventually cheated on you too had you stayed together.

As for the "exclusivity" part, I guess I am old fashioned. I am a one relationship at a time kind of person ...

yay! i'm back. my trip was alot of fun...i just woke up from a 3hr nap. i was up at 6am and on the road b/c i REALLY did not want to sit in traffic on the jersey turnpike. it was a fast drive back though, about 4hrs.

i got a good amount of exercise while i was gone and eating was fine. we'll see what the scale says. the scale was up about 6-7lbs after my 4th of july fiasco...i'm 99% sure that's all gone at least. totally not worth cheating.

on that note, tomorrow i start my uber strict plan w/ absolutely no straying until july 28! i'm pretty excited...i'm going to plan meals sometime today.

hung out w/ ex and his new gf. she was less loud and abrasive than what i remember. so it was fun. she seems the jealous type. hope everyone is doing well.

2 veggie sausage patties (20grams of protien!)

9:30-10:30am

it's a hatha based yoga class at my gym. they try to make it more physical, so there is alot of holding planks and other core strengthening movements.

i've always been tempted to try bikram. apparently there is a good place on wisconsin ave. one of my friends goes and loves it.

i decided, last minute, to go out of town for a few days. it was great, hanging out w/ family, pool, beach, etc. hard to keep on track since there was alot of yummy food around, but i still ended up losing this week. i'm really sick of this losing 1lb a week sht. i know some people on here think it's great, but honestly i weigh enough that i can afford to be losing more than that a week. i need to change something. here's today:

9am
1 boca burger patty
1 spicy black bean burger patty
(breakfast was sucky b/c it was my first day back in the office and i was running late, it's what i had in the freezer)

12:30pm
1/2 cup brown rice
1 cup black beans
1 cup roasted veggies (eggplant, red pepper, onion, carrots)

3:30pm
1 boca burger patty
1 cup brussel sprouts

6:30-7:15pm

I know exactly what you mean. I had to continually change things to keep the weight coming off. Initially eating less and working out did the trick, then I had to start eating cleaner, then I had to change my workout, now I am trying low-carb... I think the key is to keep working at it until you find what works for you.

But it seems that for you, the worst case scenario is that nothing works nay better than what you are doing and you still lose 1 pound per week until you get where you want to be. The way I see it, you win either way. ;)

thanks. yeah i know, it's tough finding out what works. i think one of my problems is getting the right balance of calories and working out. my calories seem to be the lowest when i workout the most (youd think that would make me lose more weight, but it doesnt) and vice versa.

i'm going to see Harry Potter tonight and going to Sushi Taro (awesome sushi restaurant in dupont) which is fine b/c i have the extra calories today

harry potter was really good. so was sushi (i had a few pieces of spicy tuna, eel, rainbow roll, and salmon and avocado roll, probably around 12-14 pieces total) and some edamame.

Today's diet is a little screwy, but i am going to try to fix it up:

9am
6oz fat free strawberry yogurt

12pm
2 boca burger patties
1 cup brussel sprouts

3pm
1 spicy black bean burger patty
6oz fat free vanilla yogurt

6pm
1 cup brown rice
1 cup ground turkey
1 cup roasted veggies

ends up being 38% protein, 36% carbs, 26% fat. i'm trying hard to stay away from overly processed foods, so the fact that my first three meals are is kind of sucky

3pm
6oz fat free peach yogurt
1 atkins advantage bar (dont ask, i have three of them)

the last few days i've had absolutely no appetite in the morning. today was the same, i even had my egg whites and veggie sausage all cooked but couldnt eat them. i had to eat b/c i was going to lift so it ended up being 1 scoop vanilla whey (in water) and 2 wasa crackers with some 'i cant believe it's not butter' and marmite. today's diet is a little weird:

7:15am
1 scoop vanilla whey
2 wasa crackers
1 tbsp i cant believe it's not butter
1/2 tbsp marmite

8:30-9:15am
fullbody lifting session

12pm
6oz baked salmon
1 cup roasted veggies

3pm
5oz f age
1 advantage atkins bar (these actually arent bad, but i wouldnt buy them, 2 left)

6pm
dinner out at a mexican restaurant...

i reeeeaaally dont want to go out to dinner tonight, but i know it would upset my friend if i cancelled, so i'm just going to have to find the healthiest option.

i am going to weigh-in tomorrow b/c i woke up late today and had to race into work (up until 4am finishing harry potter...omg AMAZING, love love loved it) but let me go ahead and guess that i lost 1 pound. seems to be the running trend. boo hiss.

diet was good today, spinning tonight at 630pm. this week i am going to work on coming up with a new diet and/or workout plan b/c this 1lb a week sht is really starting to get me down.

p.s. i was bad on friday, i had 2 margaritas and a bellini. and nooooo, i doubt this is why i'm only losing 1lb per week b/c all the other weeks i was very good. :(

p.p.s. i went shopping on friday and found out that i have dropped a pant size.

p.p.p.s i spent way too much money, and now i'm torn b/c i need new shoes to go w/ two of the skirts i bought.

p.p.p.p.s as i was writing this, a co-worker came in and told me i was looking 'fitter' interesting. yes, it was anorexic girl. maybe she's jealous :))))

I think it's faboulous that you lost a pants size. And unfortunately your 3 little drinks aren't calorie free and could be contributing to your slow weight loss. Kinda like my chip habit contributes to my 2-3 pound water weight gain over night.

Thanks!! yeah, it's just weird b/c i def dont drink often at all (mayyybe once every other month, or less) these two weeks will be an exception b/c i'm going to a huge all-day/night party on sat, and of course, my three drinks (really 2 1/2 last friday). who knows....

on another note, 1 lb down again. maybe i have a trick scale.

today:

9am
4 egg whites
5oz f age

12pm
chicken breast
1 wheat roll
lettuce, tomato, onion, hot peppers (yum)

3pm
1 cup fiber one
1 cup organic soy milk

6:30-8pm
1/2 hour stairmaster or treadmill
1 hour yoga

8:30pm
grilled chicken breast
1.5 cups broccoli
1 cup carrots

work sucks today.

ok...so it's been about six weeks and i've only lost about 7lbs, but i've dropped 2 inches in my waist, which is nice. i re-read my journal and noticed that i never mentioned that in january i was 238lbs, so i've lost almost 40lbs since i started...but it just seems to be coming off very slowly.

instead of 1 hour fullbody lifting last night, i did 1 hour of pilates w/ the reformer, followed by 45min spin class. i'm SO SORE TODAY..i've never done pilates with a reformer and it was incredible!! my inner thighs and whole lenght of my abs are dying..i'm sure it's going to be worse tomorrow!

instead of 1 hour fullbody lifting last night, i did 1 hour of pilates w/ the reformer, followed by 45min spin class. i'm SO SORE TODAY..i've never done pilates with a reformer and it was incredible!! my inner thighs and whole lenght of my abs are dying..i'm sure it's going to be worse tomorrow!

day off from the gym today and i'm def going to do some light cardio tomorrow to loosen up.
Dude, that's AWESOME! 40 lbs is the progress to focus on, don't worry so much about the weekly numbers. Look back and see how far you have come, and look ahead at where you can go, and just keep doing what you gotta do to get there.

thanks! youre fun :) i feel like i've def made more progress losing inches than pounds these past 6 weeks.

ok, so i was too much of chicken to get on the scale this morning b/c of the party i went to on saturday. i had a burger, some jerk chicken, a coconut cupcake, and 4 beers over the span of about 5 o 6 hours. i've noticed that a good number of people on here dont really weigh or measure themselves often. i couldnt deal w/ that, i'm too curious.

diet is in check today. i am however drinking coffee, which is very unusual for me (i ususally stay away from caffeine, but i have a ton of deadlines at work today and i feel like i'm in college again)

spinning tonight, i'm excited.

i still cannot get over HOW SORE i was from pilates last wednesday. i could barely walk on friday. i'm going to do some light cardio and alot of stretching before spin class tonight. i cant wait to do pilates again.

here's today:

9:30am
10oz f age
2 slices turkey bacon

12:30pm
1 cup brown rice
1 spicy black bean burger

3:30pm
6.5 oz tuna
10 almonds

6pm
1/2 hour light cardio
45min spin class (intense cardio)

7:30pm
Grilled chicken breast
1 cup broccoli
1 cup carrots

58% protein, 29% carbs, 13% fat

so if you've been following my journal, you read about the annoying guy who was complaining about the music being too loud in monday's spin class. well the little rat reared his ugly head again, and on monday, the manager came in and made our instructor turn the music down b/c this idiot complained again. i'm so annoyed. that's what makes the class good, it's really high energy.

seriously, it's only a 45min class once a week. this guy could throw on headphones or go lift downstairs. no one else seems to be bothered by it. and the WORST part is that this guy barely even lifts. he spends his time trying to hit on all the women in the gym who want nothing to do with him. eff him.

hey, i havent posted here forever, I hope you still get notifications of your BB stuff...

i was reading your posts about exercise and wanted to add that you may not have been losing because you were exercising tooo much... after about 45 min of exercise, the body stops doing what you want it to do... *shrug* at least it's what someone told me.

better results when you keep it under an hour!
