I have been donig BFL for the that past month. Working on cardo 4 times a week and waight trainning 4 times. This is the hardest to get this waight off. I eat really healthy. Im going to increase my cardo to 7 days a week now. I have looked at my eatting journel along with tranner. We cant figure out why im not losing.

Breakfest whole wheat toast with 1/2 t of butter

snack protein bar 110 cals

lunch salad all greens with sunflower seeds raw one t,. ( i like a cunchy salad)

Dinner one portion of fish with veggy with no butter.

I portein shake thats 110 cals.

Oh and one cup of coffie/ with NS and 1 T of powered creamer. Thats my downfall.

I drink iced tea with nutrasweet.

Can you tell me what im doing wrong. I do eat somemore sometimes. I add a yogart thats 100 cals here and there maybe

but i do watch it. Help

Welcome to the board and well done on BFL!

I can immediately tell why you aren't making any progress. Your diet is wayyyy too low in calories and very low in protein. I am surprised your trainer didn't spot that immediately!

Remember, with BFL you are meant to have a portion of protein and a portion of carbs at each meal - you seem to be missing a lot of them and a lot of your meals do not constitute a portion!

I would suggest you have a look at Lucy's journal and also my journal, and also check out some of Emma-Leigh's posts.

I would also recommend you log your foods using fitday.com and aim for a min of 1,600cals per day. What you posted is probably only about 900cals.

Hi there...Im a BFL'er too...well I follow the workout program but my food plan is tweaked quite a bit. You are definately too low on calories and protien especially with all that added cardio!

It looks like you posted about 60 grams of protein...it is widely recommended that you take in 1g of protein per lb of body weight.
