hey,

ive been trying to help my wife lose the extra pounds and i need some help. I dont think she needs to lose any weight but if it makes her happy then ill be happy. ive set up meal plans for her before and they worked pretty good but she always gives up after about 3 weeks. Shes 145 pounds 5'5 and 21 years old. any help on meal plans ratios of carbs protein etc, exercise and such so she can be where she wants to be and that is around 125-130 pounds. she isnt a bodybuilder but she would like to lose some fat. the plan i put her on was my own plan this is the totals for that plan--1237(cals)97.5(pro)125.7(carbs)28.7(fat)

She would also like to keep the one day cheat day on the weekends(i know this is bad but i think it can still work)any suggestions and advice would be much appreciated!!!! thanks very much!!

It looks too low in calories. I would raise to at least 1,500-1,600 cals, broken into 5-6 small meals per day.

You might want to get her to check out the journals in the journal section. MsLucy has a good one, and mine isn't bad....

What sort of workouts will she be doing?

Agreed with imperfectly_lou. It seems the most common mistake women make is lowering the calories far below what is necessary.

Carbs and fat look good. needs more cals and protein. If you added some lean protein the calories would go up giving you a better balance.
