I was fat throughout most of my childhood/high school (peaked at 240 @ 5'9ish, no muscle) and at 22, I'm 6'4", around 205 with ~10-12% bf. Problem is is that no matter how much weight I lose (I used to dance ballet and I got down to about 175 @ 6'4" and looked emaciated), there's always a bit of loose skin hanging around my stomach. Now given, back then I didn't know a damn thing about proper diet, so I just basically starved myself and didn't weight train. I was wondering if anyone else had ever had that problem and if it is possible to get completely ripped, or will I have to have surgery to tighten the skin back up.

Skin is a pretty neat thing actually. It's able to bounce back and tighten up and adjust quickly. If it's loose skin, it should tighten back up. However, being thin doens't necessarily entail that you had low bodyfat either. Especially since you mentioned your poor diet. It could just be a little bit of fat and a good diet could take care of it.

lifting hard and cardio some supps help like fish oil and flax seed oil. sometimes it just takes awhile for skin to tighten up the longer you stay at the lower bf the more your body will adjust and your skin will tighten.

NOTHING tones and tightens the skin better than weight-training. Keep this up and you should see results.

I tan in the tanning bed with PREPERATION-H before my shows. Dont turn the fan on and it will remove excess water from the skin while the prep-h tightens loose skin. Hope this helps, works for me.
