i Think Shane Geise is doing it too.

Maybe one day, i too will... ( said in an angelic, yet hopelessly optimistic voice)

I'm pretty sure Shane is doing it next year, this years is in like 4 days or something I think. I live in Pittsburgh and would like to go down and watch but it might be too late to get tickets.

You should still be able to get tickets on Saturday. Prejudging (for the teens) at 10 AM is open seating and only $15. The evening show at 6 PM is reserved seating and $30.

If you're in town, come on down. At worst, you'll still be able to visit the vendors which will undoubtedly be there. At best you'll see everything there is to see.

420 people competing? hmm,, i thought you had to qualify for nationals by winning a local npc sanctioned national qualifier event to compete. and there's not 420 shows a year, let alone ones that are national qualifiers,,, am i missing something:S-- i don't mean to flame, it just doesn't add up

osrri for the typo i was braindead( still am) there were 240+ competiors that includes teen men and women collegait men and women teen fitness collegiat fiqure masters figure masters bodybuilding 40-70 goin up in 10 year incraments. Anyway the show was good, nationals is a lot different than any locak or states show u could do. My advice to anyoen is do what i did, i didnt plan to win untill 2005 but i knew that the entire process would be a learning experience and i didnt want any curveballs that close to the show so i went to do it the year b4.

I took third in my class and am now working wiith someone who is goingt to get me ready to win it nex year. i came in at 193 but feel that i would have looked my best at 185 nesx year i want to come in around 210 wont go too far up in the offseason. The judges let me know my strong points(legs back width chest thickness tiny waist perfect symetry) they compared me to melvin anthoney witch was a complament but they highlighted my faults( poor conditioning, small arms need bigger sholers and traps)

If peopl are interested ill give a rundown of the show but im not gonntake the time to do it if no one is interested.

I'm always willing to hear a rundown of the show. Especially a national show. Congrats on your placing btw. Well done.

ill post a rundown on sunday... let me know where to put it... yes it was a big teenshow but somehow i dont feel that this fits into the teen bodybuilding board. I would put it in contest prep but not many people post in that section, umm im not sure where to put it. If the guys a bb.com are intersted i could just write an article( yes i will use spell check it something aside from a message board post.)

overall big show, most were masters 40& 50. Everyone was a quality athlete. Every class was tough and the overalls were just disgusting. The masters were going for procards teens were going for a photo shoot in venice and collgiat gets a amgizeen cover in M& f. I dont agree with the placing of the teen overall and i didnt see most of the master night show or any of their prejudging becaue it was on friday night.
