i have rice crackers with peanut butter most the time during the week mabe ever 2nd day and 1 day a week il have a normal dinner or some thing else is that ok ....? im 14 weeks out at 12 weeks out ill cut it comlepetly
I don't think Derek cheats. He's a machine. I think the Pizza before the 16 week diet was all he needed. I'm not sure though, maybe he is human and gives into temptation.

heck no man..why would he cheat now? He has alot of motivation and drive for his up coming contest..and because of that..hes gonna tear it up.
Cheating is actually a good thing (at least regular cheats -- once every two weeks or so). It keeps the metabolism running well, as well as helping you finish your goal (mentally). But I am not Derek, so what do I know ;)

I made the mistake of not cheating for 3 weeks. My only cheat was an Oreo once a week. Now my metabolism has slowed so much that even 1800 calories isn't enough to knock weight off. So I've decided to Carb up for a whole week, increase my calories by 100-200 every day during the week. Then start over.
Plus I think since Derek cycles his carbs, he doesn't have to worry about cheating.

There is cheat and their is refeeding. Cheating involves eating bad foods normally not on one's diet. Refeeding involves replenishing glycogen levels by eating more clean carbs.
I haven't cheated once since I started this section. I used a carb cycling diet (high carb days served as refeeds) for most of the time and am now using more of a UD2 approach which has a large refeed.
Whether you cheat or not on your diet is really up to your goals. If you are entering competition, you shouldn't cheat. If you are a recreational bodybuilder trying to lose weight, one cheat meal a week probably won't hurt you much.

im gonna show up with the chicken taco my friend dave dropped on the floor at the mall and that big bottle of wine that the "derek" imposter was drinking from in his glamour photos. that way "derek" will remember all the poor souls that have either been shot to death or had to go buy another taco because "derek", or whatever alias hes going by this week, had to be huge. its not like hes even that big really. he only weighs like 185. my uncle carl weighs at least twice that. infact he was disqualified from nathans famous hot dog eating contest the other day for failing the drug test. he still lost to that little japanese guy though. i hate him.

You're supposed to drink whey protein, not smoke it.
