ya its alright, at first it was nice, cuz it was the end of winter and it was comfortable in there, plus there wasnt many people, but now that its summer, tons of people are joining, thinking their gonna get beach bods in 2 weeks, and on top of that its like 50* in there when its humid out! its brutal, i honestly begin to sweat just walking to the first exercise. its ****ing rediculous. they have a lot of huge air vents but unless ur standing directly under them you dont feel it. those are the only two problems i have with it. it was cheap tho, and open 24hrs a day so thats why i chose it.

Popeyes is great, i haven't been there in a year actually, and just dropped by there today to pick up a protein drink while going to a friend. I think they finally air conditioned the place, i'm seriously considering it again, even though it's very inconvenience for me compared to the Y which is a few blocks down from my current place.

I most certainly wasn't passing judgement. If I were I would made a remark about the gym-goer's of today and how they're more interested in the "social" scene of the gym as opposed to the dedicated training that I saw when I started liftin at my local Y 13 years ago (age 14).

Sorry for my remarks, woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. I see how putting that down could be cause for such statement. I'm just venting. I'm not a social person at the gym at all, I'm very dedicated. I'm previously from a gym in Windsor that was very big; tonnes of free weights and squat racks that sort of thing. There's too much universal equipment at this gym, too much waiting for free weights........ anyways, I was out of line, please accept my apologies.

I'm not a social person at the gym at all, I'm very dedicated. I'm previously from a gym in Windsor that was very big; tonnes of free weights and squat racks that sort of thing. There's too much universal equipment at this gym, too much waiting for free weights........ anyways, I was out of line, please accept my apologies.

I was a janitor at Impulse for a while, I go back and forward from The Ajax community gyms (usually mcleans since its like 10 minutes walking from my house) and Roos now, thinking of joining roos in september. What's up all...I split my time between (but spend most of it at) platinum fitness in Whitby (the new location) and Bally's in Scarborough (at Cedarbrae mall)...I sometimes head over to the Bally's at Gordon Baker when I feel a need of atmosphere change.
