I have to shave 3 times a week...it sucks...I was thinking of getting waxed...how long does that last?

I just want something that will last for like, 2 weeks at a time...I've cut my legs so many times that they are starting to scar over other scars...

Man..I have to shave just about everyday unless I want hair coming out. In a weeks time..I have hair everywhere. if your hair grows that slow, you are lucky.

I tried using some wax once (I believe NADS for men). I did one strip then quit...

Waxing hurts I dunno if I've done it wrong (since I ignorantly tried more than once) but I tell ya I think I took off the top couple/few layers of skin with it. Not to mention it hurt like hell. I shave right now and I'm in the frequently having to shave club. I do get bumps like around my boxer line, and high neck so if someone has suggstions feel free to spit em at me.

I take it off with a mach III my ex girlfriend used to have a hell of a lot of fun waxing various bits of my body (part of the reason she's my ex!) I have found shaving to be much better. Waxing only lasts about three weeks anyway.

I tried both shaving and waxing.

Shaving Pros:

1. Doesn't hurt

Shaving Cons:

1. Grows back fast and thick
2. Your skin will feel stubbly unless you shave every other day.


Waxing Pros:

1. Lasts longer, about 2-4 weeks depending on your hair growth
2. grows back lighter and finer

Waxing Cons:

1. HURTS LIKE A BITCH!!! Though after a few times, your hair becomes so thin that it's not so bad.



I wax my chest about once every 6 weeks. I know an esthetician who does it out of her home. She does it for $15 and it takes only 20 minutes. I would NOT recommend you waxing your own chest since this can get messy. In the long run waxing is better IMO.

I shave my arms every other day and don't have any irritation. I tried shaving my legs about 2 month ago and it was hell. My legs had little irritation bumps every where that itched like crazy. How do you keep that from happening???

I tried nair on my arms. Was bleeding for a week...AND left some scars from the chemical burns. Use at ur own discretion. btw I have REALLY sensitive skin, softer than most of my gf's.
