Damn, this workout is no fun with no glycogen :(
I did this workout in 45 minutes, which is faster than usually though. I did not really feel physically weak, but rather mentally weak. This is no doubt due to the fact the the brain uses glucose for energy, and I did not supply enough to meet the demands of both the brain and the working muscles. But the brain will use what it needs before the muscles get any.

GO must be your best friend in times like these. Drop sets on calves = dedication. keep at it.

Did my clean cardio yesterday evening. Same old same old.
Tuesday's Workout
Today's workout went well. Nothing spectacular, but very efficient.

I was wondering if your experimenting with the 'heavy' clean cardio Mondays, and 'light' clean cardio Thursdays as you said in a thread a while back? What about the clean and snatch?
Sooo... has your little brother started to lift with you? ;)

Force = Mass * Acceleration
I decreased the mass, so in order to increase the force, I have to increase the acceleration. Therefore, I am still heavily overloading the muscle + causes metabolic changes.

Hey Beast was wondering on your training I am trying something like Starting week 1 Reps of 12 on each lift , 2nd week 10 , 3rd 8 reps on lifts to failure and then 4th week 5-6 on all lifts. THen the cycle starts over and I should be able to go up in weight on my first week of 12 then the previous. I got in an argument with a guy at the gym abour pyramind sets. He said why do u stay at the same weight on all sets. I told him the 10th rep I was struggling with so I left the same weight on and tried to get 10. I told him why would i add weight if common knowledge says I will not be able to get 10? I told him people pyramid down all the time when common sense is we know we will not be able to get 10 reps if the first set was tough. What is your take on this I have been doing 3 or 4 sets of 12 then 10 second week etc like I explained.
Sorry it was so long I am just pissed at this dip****

If you goal is to get 10 reps, and you get 10 reps on the first set, but it was almost to failure, then of course if you add weight you would not be able to get 10 reps on the next set. Is this what you are asking?
On another note, I will be switching Monday's workout with Thursday's some I will be doing the Leg Power workout with higher glycogen levels. THis means that tomorrow and then again on MOnday, I will be doing the lower body depletion workout, then the Power one next Thursday.

Ya bro I know lol, I was doing my sets 4 sets of 10 staying at the same weight, I got 10,10 8,7 this guy was telling me just to add weight every damn set even if I am trying to get a full set of 10 on each set. He was telling me to pyramid. I am a ****ing trainer at the gym and he is telling me this, I started laughing at him and walked away

Hey Derek was wondering how u go about figuring out what your workout reps will be from week to week etc when you are not competing etc. What in your opinion is the best rep scheme from week to week keep in mind overall goal lean muscle mass. This is for someone who does not want to compete but wants to put on good lean mass keep in mind diet would be on target also. I like hearing other peoples point of veiws on this. Also bodyparts per day etc?
Thanks bro best of luck on your competition. Damn I am never sore on Product X I am liking it so far 3 pounds in about 2 weeks

derek, do you find it hard to do CGBP the day after chest? I'm usually too sore the day after (even when not hitting failure) to do excersises that involve the chest at all, such as CG.

I don't feel close grip bench in my chest at all. Total tricep movement. Play around with your technique and see what you can do.
