in 3 months I've gained 10 pounds. Me: 6'4" 175 pounds(presently), <5% bodyfat. I'm willing to get fat so I can put some f*cking muscle on, then burn off the fat later, but that first step is missing. I've done the weight gainers(twin labs mass fuel), supplements(vitamins), and I work out intelligently, not like most of the people in the gym, that I see. Thing is, I eat like a horse, literally. There's always something to eat in my hand(except at the gym, of course). I figured it out one day, I'm eating in excess of 7000 calories every day, without the weight gainers. Add 2400 more calories with them. I've lost girlfriends when they ask how I eat so much and don't gain anything. "Yes, my metabolism is REALLY fast. No, I don't particularly like it. Why are you walking away, packing your things, opening the" -SLAM, goes the door. Some help here?

ok, granted this is in the female's section, but I saw the nutrition and dieting link and said, hey, that sounds right. I do really need answers, though. Thanks

if you eat 7000 calories a day plus 2400 in wieghtgainers, then you should be gaining wt.
however, maybe you could just have an extremely fast metab.
the only way to gain wt. is to take in more than you burn. doesnt matter what the number of calories is, if your burning more than your consuming, you'll lose wt.

so, just keep eating more. with that kind of metabolism it doesnt even matter what you eat, just get your calories in. never let yourself be hungry--you always want to be full, even stuffed. plan your day around eating and dont do cardio. keep your training sessions short and only do each bodypart once a week.

no cardio? isn't that counter productive? Yes I have an extremely fast metabolism, I got it from high school track(and I had a fast met. before I even started that), I know that stuff, but I want to remain fit enough to run with my nephews and play football with friends(granted, I'm the quarterback, but still, I have to be able to make the quarterback sneaks every now and again. Fat I can deal with, but what should I eat? fat based, carb based, protein based? some sort of mix . . .

like i said, just eat and dont worry about what it is. you need to make a caloric abundance. doing cardio will make a caloric deficit.
get in the wieghtroom, lift harder than ever, get out and eat your butt off............all day long.

potatoes, spagetti, eggs, beef, chicken, whole wheat bread, yams, corn, oatmeal, tuna, pizza, mexican food, ice cream, bannanas, veggies...........everything...........just eat it all up.

Just to be sure, you are taking in enough protein? about 1.2 - 2 g per KG of body weight If I rember, you want to go for at least 130g per day at your weight ( a little less than mine)

I'd say 200g would do per day, definintely not 130g. I have 150g and I weigh 132 pounds at the moment!
