Hey guys, I'm in desparate need of help. I'm 3 weeks out from my show but I've got a weekend flight to Vegas this weekend leaving on the 4th and returning on the 6th, last minute thing. How or what can I do about my diet for these 3 days!!!!

I stayed on my diet (although it wasn't a competition diet) the whole time I was in Vegas, and I was there 5 days. The Bellagio buffet is good, lots of carved turkey, big salad bar, you should be ok.

IT's going to be hard staying away from all that good food, etc. And trying to get my breakfast and all those other meals in on time. Kind of sucks to go to any restaurant and have to order meat and veggies the whole time.

cook chicken breasts, put them in ziplock bags and take them with you... easy as 1,2,3

str8flexed has it right.
pack up as much food as you can.
my last trip to vegas was tough too, but packing food really helped. i must have had over 10lbs of chicken as carry on.

Buy ya some can tuna, can opener, and a plastic fork... It's great straight from the can. Of course don't pack the can opener, or plastic fork in carry on, you don't want to miss your your flight due to security issues.

On my last trip to Vegas, I, too , packed pounds of chicken as well as hard-boiled eggs (6 dozen!), and 18 microwaved sweet potatoes. I also took along the Starkist seasoned tuna packs (try the Sweet and Spicy!). I had no problem bringing on a plastic fork and even a can opener on my flights. I called ahead to the hotel- the Paris- and had them put a fridge in the room; it worked well. Also, I ate dinners at the buffet at the Monte Carlo. It was about $15 and they carved turkey breast every night as well as served chicken breast and poached salmon, plus all the salads and greens you could eat. It actually turned out to be one of the easiest eating situations I was in pre-contest.

Thanks guys, I don't think I will have much of a choice, I'm going to have to pack my food and make the best of it. Good thing it's only for the weekend. I've only got two weeks to show time, I can't screw things up now.

Being 3 weeks out I would stick with real food...Don't buy bars or RTD Myoplex...Figure out how many meals you will need...Do some research into the area you will be (restaurants, health food stores)...When you get there go the the store and buy canned chicken, salmon, and tuna. Buy nonfat cottage cheese and keep in on Ice in your room. Make oatmeal and cream of rice or wheat using hot water from the coffee maker in the room. Buy frozen vegtables and let them thaw out in your room. The maids will think your crazy...but we all are and proud of it! Yes, I've done this before.

I figure I'll take my oatmeal and exactly like you said brew some hot water on the coffe maker and make the oatmeal. Then I'm going to take my own whey protein powder. I'll take a couple of cans of tuna and I've checked into the restaurant including the ones at the hotel I'm staying at. For breakfast I can either have some egg beaters or have them prepare me my 9 egg whites. Dinner is fairly easy I can get steak and veggies pretty much at any restaurant. And I can get a plain old salad anywhere to eat with my tuna. And of course I can get a chicken breast salad almost anywhere also and just ask for an extra chicken breast. And of course I'll have to lug around my jug of water everywhere I go.

Sounds good...Remember to have a good time and don't stress too much...that will do you more harm than the all-you-can eat buffets.
