One thing that seems odd to me is my waist decreased by 5/8" over the past two weeks, but the caliper measurements for the abdominal and suprailliac (love handle) stayed the same.

Yeah the caliper measurements suck imo, lol. I use the digital ones and I take each measurement 5 times and like 3-4 different numbers.

Are you using just a plain measuring tape? Seems like a goofy question, but i used to use the little myotape thing, and my measurements always seemed littler then when I used it. (You know you put it on and push the button to tighten up).

Ouch!
5.16 179 LBM
5.30 177 LBM

Sorry bout the loss of muscle, but still looking good.

Yes that lean mass over the last two weeks hurts me :(
Everything is just numbers though. They are nice to gauge progress by, but one should go by the mirror. I'm getting stronger and losing fat, so I know I am progressing.

I have an idea of what caused this loss of lean mass, but I won't be able to test my theory out because I start Product X today. So we'll see how that goes.

Thanks for the support though Harland. It makes me feel good to know someone cares about my lean mass :)

lol :)

it could be the more sesathin dosing you said you where going to do? to drop 3lbs a week, or maybe something along the lines of it.

what about the measuring tape ?

Regular flat measuring tape, except for chest and shoulders on which I used the Myotape.

I'm curious, how tall are you Derek? I want to compare your height to weight so your measurements will be easier to understand. Thanks

Actually, my kidney measurements (lower back) decreased a mm, so the fat came from the back instead of the front. I must have had a brain fart. But some could have also been VAT.

Derek, try to imagine back when u were 15-16, when u would just flex out of nowhere, or walk by a mirror and do a pose etc.............. now that ur alot bigger, duz it feel any different. its hard to explain what im saying, but bascially now that ur bigger and alot thicker, can u FEEL a difference from b4, or do u just notice that u LOOK bigger?

Yeah it feels bigger and thicker. I see what you are asking now. Yes it feels different flexing a 17" bicep than it does flexing a 14" bicep.

What brand and model of caliper do you use? How do you do your back measurements with the caliper?
