Today was kind of disapointing when I maxed out. I maxed out on bench last night at a friends house at 205. I think I may have been able to go a bit higher because the bench wasnt very good and I wasn't really pumped up or anything, but I will say 205 because I got it pretty solid.
Today I maxed out on deadlift and squat in the gym for the first time. I got my max deadlift up to 315, but I feel i may have been able to do a bit more (not much more though). Squats were EXTREMELY embarassing. I can leg press 700 for 5+ reps (im know thats still pretty weak) and had trouble with 135. 135 went up pretty shaky and it kind of hurt. Maybe I have really weak hips or something. Well this has just proven to me that I need to concentrate on squats. I think I will do box squats for a while to build up general squat strength and form. Anyway this was pretty embarasing and I plan on pickin up these numbers ASAP. I am sick of bein weak. I start the program tomorrow and plan on doing lats, bicepts, tricepts, shoulders, calves, and traps on off days.

Yes, SQUAT SQUAT SQUAT. The Squat is the most important lift anyway. It separates the boys from the men. The bench is just an ego lift. Get that squat over 135, PLEASE.

Tomorrow is squat day for me. Gonna be going HEAVY. I LOVE squat days.

I feel your pain on the squat.

My numbers are

Bench 310
deadlift:480
Squat:270

Both of us have to work hard on our squats.

Just a thought, maybe you could of broke 135 if you didn't already max on deads?

No shame bro, no shame. As long as your takeing it below parallel or at theres nothing to be embarassed about. What kinda stance do you use while performing the squat btw? Welcome and goodluck bro.
