My upper body is basically in contest condition (except for my sotmach) while my legs are slowly leaning out. It looks like my hamstrings are leaning out before my quads. I am going to start using Lipoderm Ultra on my quads starting Monday. I'll take my bf% tomorrow. I weighed 190 this morning. Time for the pics. This was my favorite of the group.

in regards to your stomach... is it just a matter of leaning out a tad more in getting rid of that "bulge" so to speak?
also... how do you manage to get your back looking so smooth and dry?

That back double bi is amazing Derek. Your rear delts are huge! Are you usind lipoderm only on your quads? Or will you use it on your abs also?

Thanks everyone!
Yeah it takes forever to upload these, but it is all good.
Right now I am just going to use the lipoderm on my quads since they are always the last to lean out. I am thinking that I might have to lower my carbs on my high carb days soon :(
I'm not sure what I will weigh come contest day. I weighed 190 this morning and still have some to lose. My guess is I was come in at the low 180's which would be about 10 pounds heavier than last year.
I am posting my updated stats in a different thread right now.

The only criticism I have is of your traps. I think they could be much better, especially with how good the rest of your body is developed.

I agree. The guy who won the 2nd contest I did last year had HUGE traps. I will definitely be focusing on my traps when the competition season is over. Same goes for my chest. I feel I need to bring both my chest and traps up.

D-
What does your caloric intake look like as you get closer to contest week? How low do you actually go, and what do you do to preserve muscle mass loss as you lower your calories each week? Im cutting for just for myself, but dont want to lose any hardearned mass - so I welcome any tips :)

Overall your looking tops, especially in the arms, delts and quads. If you could thicken up on your traps and back (esp mid back) you'd basically have no weaknesses at all. I guess alot of it is genetics, but with your dedication I am sure you can bring it up to par with the rest of you (which is very very good). Your lat spread is great, wide and flaring, just need to pack it on the rhomboids, traps etc. I am sure you prolly have better idea's but since your arms are seemingly so dominate maybe you want to try using straps on your bb rows etc, let your forearms almost hang free (loose at the elbows almost swinging) and concentrate on pulling with just the back. I've found this has given me a far stronger squeeze in the back area especially if you use a slightly narrower than normal grip (that I can't seem to mimic when gripping with hands no matter how hard I try). Just a suggestion, don't want to sound like one of those guys who come up and make suggestions to experienced individuals but do with it what you will. Good luck.

omg, looking at your quads make me feel sorta sick in my stomach bro. those leg pics motivate me to hit the squat rack harder from now on.

I say keep your heels together or your heel of one foot placed into the instep of the other.
You have super huge legs so you don't need to worry about size when sticking a leg out, but you'll give yourself a better appearance of an "X", especiallyh with a little bend in the knees and if you try to "slide your feet outwords", which will push your quadsweep out even more.
Just my 2cc's,
Thorazine
