I am thinking of using insulin in my precontest diet because of the fact that it can have positive benefits on carb storage and utilization. Just wondering if this would be a good idea. I have used it before while bulking and understand the risks and how to prevent hypoglycemia. The problem i'm running into is with my dietary fat. I've heard facts/read, that you should not intake any fat 2 hours before and 2 hours after injecting due to the digestion time of fat, and duration of activity of the insulin. Just wondering if this is true, and will the slin store too much fat if used moderately or will it be a positive tool in getting me shredded? any help is appreciated, thanks

I doubt taking insulin precontest would be a good idea. First off the stuff is dangerous as ****. If you don't eat a proper amount of carbs after taking it you can...die. And since you will probably lower your carbs precontest it wouldn't be a good idea to take insulin on a lowered carb diet. In addition, insulin is one of the most fattening hormones in the body, when it is present all fat burning is basically shut down. Why do you think low carb diets work so well in the first place... because they keep your insulin low and your fat burning heightened.
Peace

haha, after reading a few of primo's other posts, you need to heed str8's advice.

obviously no one pays attention to what the **** i even write in my posts. they're just too concerned to find anything that they can flame. Like i said. i know how insulin works ok. I know you can die if you become hypoglycemic, i researched the **** for about three months before i ever even touched it. Then i played with the dosage until i found what worked for me. I'm not some dumb ****in kid like youu guys would like to beleive. what like you guys think I heard insulin was good so i started popping the **** like crazy. I asked a ****in question because a guy at my gym suggested it to me. Not because I was already on it and just needed to hear that everything was going to be ok. I flamed someone the other day for trying to help someone out on this board and i feel bad now man. Some people on this boared are quicker to flame than to give advice. Granted I've made some dumb ****in posts there's no denying that, but why the **** would i ask them if i knew they were stupid. Man if i knew the answers to everything why the **** would i even bother asking questions. If you don't jhave a serious post or advice for me **** off i don't need to hear your sarcastic bull****. And if you want to voice your opinion, why be a cocky bastard about it just say no that won't work or just say bro kinda stupid question instead of building your own ego by being mouthy instead of helpful.

Look here dick, I wasn't flaming you. Calm your f*cking ass down. And if you knew **** in the first place you wouldn't have asked that dumb f*cking question. You fly off the handle when everyone else answers your questions? O and to completely answer your question...no don't take any fat around the time you inject your insulin. Fat slows digestion and you wouldn't get the maximum benefit from your insulin.

You can listen here bro, i wasn't talking about you. your advice was genuine and appreciated. My reply was directed at Drew for his smart ass comment. And as for me not knowing ****????? wtf. Insulin when used in combination with AAS properly will not result in any fat due to the increased activity of certain enzymes and AAS ability to utilize nutrients for muscle building. I know that it also halts lipolysis but humalog is only active for 4 hours at a time, so 4 hours of not burning calories post workout is not such a bad thing. In my post workout period i don't want to be catabolic even if i am dieting, that's just plain stupid. So before everyone goes calling me stupid saying i don't know what i'm talking about maybe you should keep in mind that i do my research and every question i ask has validity. Just because you don't know the facts of how AAS and insulin work synergystically doesn't mean I don't. I do enough research to know at least what questions are stupid and which ones aren't.

advice from someone who CAN answer your question...

Id drop it a good 8 weeks out, Ive found in friends that it can be too unpredicatble at the end and its too hard to get "right on" if youre thinking about using it for carb loading... most guys end up spilling over with it...some can pull it off, but chances are slim...

its actually a matter of trying to avoid any more fat being stored than is necessary...insuling is great at fat storage....
