FAME - Fitness and Model Expo

Hey,

I was just wondering if anyone is entering any of the competitions at this weekend's event in Toronto, Canada, called FAME (Fitness and Model Expo). There are a whole bunch going on, including Fitness Model Search, Bodybuilding, and Figure. Im entering in the model search, and was just wanted to find out if anyone else out there that reads these boards was planning on competing.

hey john,

yeah, i had an amazing time too. I competed in the Fitness model search, and i remember you from seeing your pics on your site. unfortunately, i didnt make the top 10, but it was still a good experience and i plan on doing it again next year. i heard that it was too commercial this year though, as compared to last year. people were saying all they cared about this year was making money, but i have nothing to compare it to, because i didnt compete last year. any opinion on that? as an experienced fitness model, how would you suggest someone gets into the business? im pretty new to the whole industry, and was wondering if you had any tips....any advice would be much appreciated.

I went to it and was in absolute heaven! the chics were HOT and the booths were fun to check out... i saw the fitness events friday and the bodybuilding events saturday... i want to compete now! im serious so i am talkin to an experienced competitor for his advice and preparation techniques. drank too many of those creatine drinks from MMUSA and got serious stomach discomfort!!!(i was thirsty ok!)
