Hello, was just given this board by a friend. I'm 17 years old, almost 18 and I've been lifting since I was 16 years old.

At the moment I'm 6'3 benching 300 lbs. There was a state powerlifitng meet 2 weeks ago and the state record for my weight class is 365 lbs.

So the way I look at it is I've got just a little over 11 months to get a 70 lb increase on my bench. This summer I'm going to go all out on training, I'll be taking creatine and some amino acids.

Right now I mix my workout but the gist of it is about 7 sets of bench, then 4 or 5 sets of incline dumbells... or vice versa.

After that I do flies, I've heard these are horrible for bench increase but are in fact just for bodybuilders. Soon after that I do burnout reps of either dips or pushups.

How bad am I doing on this workout?

I've also heard that getting your traps to maximum value increases you bench quite a bit... problem is I don't know what a seated row is... any help?

Thanks for reading.
