figure contests

Does anyone have info on what exactly a figure contest entails? Is it like a bikini contest or evening gowns included? Since I'm not talented in the fitness arena, I thought I'd enter one this summer. I've got a lot of muscle for my frame but the competition I want to do.........most of the women are on something and I'm NOT going to ruin my genitics just to be the best or one of the best

It is kind of like a swimsuit/beauty pageant but the women are very fit at about 10% bodyfat with a good amount of muscle. At prejudging you will do quarter turns in a one and two piece regulation suit. The night show is exactly the same but all of the judging is done at the prejudging. I warn you the suits are very expensive for a nice decorative one.
