Thought i would start a journal here since i am 40 years old. Hurt my back deadlifting the other day, so might be awhile before i start deads,squats again.

I am 6ft 165 right now skinny, i am going to do a Joe average routien,but will be raw,this worked real good shirted.

Bench 5-10

bar x 10

close grips
135x? x2 2 inches from smooth, instead of speed

pull ups

back is real stiff and sore, so i didnt go crazy today.Hard to bend over stand up pick up anything get out of bed,lol

welcome to the journalling.................i hurt my back doing straight dead lifts.......still sore but i had to do some changes to my form and it took some doing.....people here i credit with that help......but after the change in form it got better...and i could increase the weights again for both deads......take it easy...... id hate to see u give up lifting.......thanks for dropping by my journal too:)

Thanks. I had been having some soreness, but not bad just bother some sometimes, would wake up from sleeping and be stiff and sore, my build doesnt work well for regular deadlifts but i feel so much stronger, but when i am able to deadlift again, i think i will stick to rack pulls and sumo. my conv dead pr is 420 and i have real long legs and it really puts a strain on my low back. I was going to do rack pulls that day and now i sure wish i would of listened to myself lol.

not going to squat or pull till back is better
