Wow...I am almost 3 weeks out from showtime. unreal. Nothing new to report here, I am no more than 2 pounds outta contest shape, if that. All is well, but damn...its getting crazy for me right now. Posing all the time, working out all the time, ect. Diet officially ends 10 days out...that gives me enough time for a nice slow carb up and then enough time to get the water right.

Anybody else close to show right now?? Let me put it this way...anyone else's mind seriously screwing with them right now??

Yeah I am 3 days out from my first show and I'm with you on the mind games. I'm coming in about 5 lbs lighter than I expected, though str8 was right on target with his 215 lb guess several weeks ago. I lose about 4 lbs per night from water loss which is prety unnerving and now that I've been at pretty low carbs for the last 2 or 3 days I'm feeling a little small and flat. I decided not to do an extreme carb depletion and load or an extreme sodium load/deplete to keep things simple and not risk missing the timing. Just lots and lots of water, and a moderate carb cycle this week. Still with everything to think about it definitely starts to wear on you. Pro-Tan starts tonight...

I'm also 24 days out! Everything is progressing, off season im 192, (im still lean offseason) and now im 180, i have 24 days to remove at least 5 pounds. and after that, its gonna be water removal the night before the day of the show. I will keep my sodium low the 5 days before the show, and take potassium and Vit C, and alll that bull **** (:

I wish good wins to us all!

Well good luck to us all then! Glad to hear I am not the only guy here whose mind is totally screwing with him. I started laughing today as I pondered whether or not it's possible to be too skinny and fat at the same time???? LOL.

That being said, I am pretty jacked up for this show...its my first one and needless to say its gonna be a helluva good time, win lose or draw...although I want to win my division!!!

i'm about 36 days out and i'm stoked...this is my second contest in three years so i'm still pretty new...i was hoping to reach 160 during the offseason but i barely got up to 153...i'm still a good month away and i've already dropped down to below 145...the shreds are coming in nicely tho....

...i plan on doing a sodium load for two or three days five days out from contest then i'm going to sodium deplete until the day of contest....

....my first contest i carb depleted for three days and then started loading two days prior....i found myself feeling like crap...so this time i'm going to deplete until the day before...then slowy up my carb intake....what are some good foods to eat the day before???

....good luck to everyone!!!

p.s. oh yah.... i'm going to get a gian mrs. fields cookie the night after my contest....i'm soOoo looking forward to it, but until then it's diet to the nth degree

A big cookie huh? That sounds pretty tempting right now. lol. I am going out to eat after the show with a bunch of friends and family and I have a feeling there may just be a big desert in my future. I am thinking some kind of huge-ass brownie with ice cream and everything else that is generally considered to be unhealthy. :)

and today is what I term a "small" day. I feel weak and ****ty, but hey, I watched Pumping Iron last night for the 7 millionth time and feel inspired once again. oh yeah.

19 days en counting...
