So Animal and Universal let me have the awesome opportunity to test the new House Stack. It is composed of Animal Pump (which we have all come to know and love) and Universal TORRENT (Universal's new PWO mix).

A Pre-Workout Creatine Matrix - Built on the proven foundation of creatine, Animal Pump is no passing fancy. It's a no bull, high octane performance supplement designed to help you blast through plateaus and preconceived limitations. In addition to a full daily dose of creatine in the form of an advanced matrix (including patented MCC, CEE and TCM), you also get (1) a fusion of a swelling NO Blast Complex; (2) a shocking Energy Rush Complex; (3) an immune-support antioxidant blend; and (4) potent cell volumizers, all wrapped up in a special nutrient transport complex. From top to bottom, Animal Pump is complete and comprehensive.

Torrent sets a new standard for post-workout (PWO) nutrition. Though often overlooked, this part of the bodybuilding equation is the most critical aspect in the quest to foster new growth. Properly utilizing this time is vital for inducing overall muscle mass "activation". Torrent?s formula is designed to maximize the anabolic "window of opportunity" that exists after a hard training session, when muscle protein synthesis can potentially be stimulated for hours. Simultaneously, the rate of protein degradation is also increased.
In the absence of critical macronutrient intake, a bodybuilder's protein balance would remain negative. If you want to build muscle this definitely isn?t good. This is where Torrent? comes into play. It acts quickly and efficiently by supplying your muscles with a powerful cascade of criticial nutrients, all in a matter of moments. After a hard workout your muscles are torn down, glycogen is depleted and your body enters a damaging catabolic state. For the bodybuilder, this is a state of red alert.
When consumed immediately post-training, Torrent's proprietary blend of muscle mass activators rush to bring your body back into anabolic ?green light? status, quickly repairing damaged muscle fibers while triggering fresh growth. First and foremost, it has super high-efficiency protein. Torrent? is loaded with hydrolyzed whey protein, which consists of small whey peptides that can be quickly digested and absorbed. Hydrolyzed protein is the quickest digesting protein available.
Torrent also contains a specialized Osmosulin Matrix of carbohydrates that allows for quick glycogen replenishment and the fastest possible absorption of muscle-nourishing nutrients. This blend is packed with an optimal ratio of complex carbs from innovative, highly prized waxy maize starch, maltodextrin, and dextrose. This blend allows for a dramatic boost of anabolic insulin via simple sugars coupled with the nutrient-drawing effects of ?high molecular weight? carbohydrates. The formula is then generously spiked with 18 grams of a key proprietary blend of advanced aminos and creatines. A special "anabolic matrix" that will put your muscles in post-workout recovery overdrive. When consumed immediately after intense training this potent blend can induce a powerful anabolic surge that shuttles nutrients into your starved muscle cells. Heightened anabolism, rapid nutrient transport, insulin potentiating--all delivered by means of a delicious post-workout growth cocktail. And we mean delicious. Torrent is an anabolic force mother nature never intended. Blow your plateaus away with Torrent.
Torrent Highlights:
* Post Workout Recovery Matrix
* Anabolic Muscle Activator
* Enhanced With Key Aminos
* Triggers New Muscle Growth
* Osmosulin Delivery System
* Supports Glycogen Re-Synthesis

Day 1
Had a great work out today! The pump kept me going all the way through, walked out feeling great.
Squats
Warm up:2x5
4x6
Max:235.
I had suffered a knee injury a few months back and have been getting back into the swing of squats for the past month or so. Didnt want to push too hard, I know this is a low max for my weight and I will continue to increase it. I was plentifully surprised at the out come though .
Dead lifts
Warm Up:2x5
4x6
Max:215
Once again I know the weight is low but I will continue to increase.
Flat Bench Press
Warm Up:2x5
4x6
Max:215
Doing all the compounds took a lot outta me but I continued to hit my back and arms with some body weight pull ups.
Pull ups
4x6

BB curls

Abs
Leg lifts

Here is my diet for today.

Supps:
Animal Pump did wonders as it usually does. My focus was great, weight seemed lighter for squats than usual and I had some nice vascularity to go along with it. Cannot complain with this supp, it should be a staple for all.
Torrent:
FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
After opening the bottle I peeked around inside. Had a very pungent smell and the powder looked very thick. The smell reminded me of candy.
MIXABILITY:
10/10, mixed very well after a good 30 seconds of shaking. No clumps or anything in the cup. It is a little tough to get all the 20 ounces of water in with a BB.com Shaker cup. You have to be careful not to spill it.
TASTE:
7.5/10, It was not the tastiest powder I have had but I could certainly drink it with no problems. The taste is very cherry and reminds you of some kind of cherry candy or cough syrup. I had to use drinking fountain water so that might have contributed to the taste not being so palatable. It went down easy though, and over time Im sure I will grow very used to it.
I'm hoping to see some increases in lifts and a little decrease in the body fat while on this stack. Overall a fine start! Thanks Animal!

DAY 2: CARDIO!
Woke up today feeling quite sore, musta been all that maxing out yesterday.
Saving the Torrent for lifting days which are mon/wed/fri.
Ran 1.5 miles today outside. Quit early because the temperature is around 100 degrees here, way too hot to run. But I got enough sweating in with my kick boxing class so I am satisfied.
I also drink at least 1 gallon of water daily, dont think I put that above yet. So far so good! Heres my fitday journal link for everything Ive eaten so far!

DAY 3!
Woke up this morning and my quads are still sore as hell. It is tough to walk. I felt bloated during the morning too, I'm alright now. Not sure what it was about. I just ate a little pre workout food and going to wait to digest and head to the gym with some animal pump. Tried my new foreman grill today, worked wonders.

Sorry it took so long to get my work out posted. Had a good one today, still sore as hell though. Decided to switch some stuff up. Had very good pumps, and the metal music was blasting in my ears.
DB incline press:
4x8
Dips (bodyweight)
4x8
Pull ups(bodyweight)
4x6
threw in a few negatives in the pull ups.
Lat pull down:
4x6
Negatives here as well.
Stiff Legged Dead lifts:
4x6
Calf Raises:
5x10
Did some abs as well
Hanging Leg raises
3x20
Crunches:
3x20
In between crunches I laid down with knees off the ground. Dont know what you call that but basically a push up position with elbows on the ground. around 30 seconds each time.
Finally ran 1 mile, knees are a little sensitive to harsh activity.
TORRENT: Mixed it today with some more water, must say it was better than before. Just waaaaaaay too much powder and water for a bb.com shaker cup. If you're going to use torrent I would recommend getting a larger one. Also the taste has not gotten any easier right now. Gotta wait it out.
I'm also feeling bloated a lot lately. I'm wondering if its the whey I use or what, but it sucks. I am feeling good overall about my regiment. I just need to be consistent.

Nice Supplement log ........ I'll be starting early Monday morning myself. I've experienced the runs myself using Shock therapy and Storm. I also had the same problem with NO Explode. I think it's partly from the effervesent effect that these supplements have. It may be helping liquify whats already in the stomach, or It may be in part due to the added water intake involved with taking these supplements. Any way I hope you get to feeling better.
Good luck!

After wards I ran 2 miles, knees feel a little shakey lately. Hopefully that flex will start to kick in some more.
Day 9
Had my final kick boxing class for the semster. Just did some mitt practice and some condition body exercises. Overall a good class and I built up a nice sweat for 40 minutes.

Pump should kick in around days 10-14. For Flex, you have to give it some more time...

Nothing much for the weekend. Just taking a rest. Went to the doctor for a follow up on my knees. He told me to keep it easy off the running and lower body stuff. So I guess I be doing upper body and light lower. Sucks, been having knee problems since the start of this year.

Final Day of lifting!
I tried to raise my bench by 10 lbs but was not able to do it. Due to my knees not feeling well either I do not want to try and max out on deads and squats. So everything remains the same. I have dropped down to 200 which was my goal in the first place. Tomorrow morning I will get my bf and post it up.

Sorry, went on a trip for the weekend. heres the results.
FINAL STATS
Before:205 lbs
Now:200 lbs
BF Before:according to calipers anywhere between 17-19%
Now:A definite 17.5%
My thoughts on pump: Pump is a great supplement to help you wake up and get movin in the gym. After about 2 weeks you start to feel the pumps consistently in the gym. Vascularity is an improvement, I never had any veins before taking pump and now they are permanent in my arms. Overall if it makes me wake up in the gym and put my 100%in everytime it doesnt get much better than that. I dont like walking away from a workout unsatisfied and pump helps me not do that consistently.
Animal Pump rating: 9/10
Torrent: The overall quality of torrent is good. It has a great ingredient profile and provids solid results. The flavor can become a thing you look forward to after awhile, take a little while to mix but does not leave clumps if shaken properly. It DEFINATELY tastes waaaay better than more than 20 oz. of water. Id say 25 oz. of water is best for flavor and mixability. It even sustains your pump for a while after your workout. Overall this combo did what I had hoped it would do, give me energy in the gym.
Torrent Rating: 8.5/10
My maxes did not increase by as much but they did not decrease, so there is something tobe said for that. I also noticed I could lift more on certain lifts, such as pull ups or bent over bb rows. I just want to say thank you again to Universal and Animal for giving me this opportunity to try out 2 great products to help improve myself.
