Hey guys, basically i am doing a program where i workout about 3 days on 1 day off, ect. The issue i believe that comes into play here is my PWO nutrition. I do 40g Protein, 50-60g carbs PWO everytime i workout. Obviously this takes you out of ketosis for a certain amount of short time.

My question is that with doing this, fat loss will be slower because i am in and out of ketosis or?

Also, any changes or recomendations to deal with this? Lowering the frequency of workouts isn't an option i really want to take...

Thanks for any advice and discussion!

This will not hinder fat loss. Increase in muscle its the best way to lose fat, and with proper post workout nutrition you feed the muscles to grow. With more muscle, you will have a higher metabolism and will be killing off more bodyfat. Keep up the post workout meal.

I work out six days on and one day off right now and that's all lifting weights for the moment.

Do you carb up or do you TKD?

Your PWO shake is fine and not hindering fat loss but you may want to lower it to closer to 30-40 grams of carbs PWO unless you are doing TKD.

Though many will say 50-60 is fine as well.

If I feel like my workout will suffer then I will do an extra day off but it hardly needs it.

Your PWO aren't probably hindering your fat loss at all.

Best of luck:)
