MONDAY:
Weight: 230 ( +2 )
-Light Chest and Biceps
( This was my first day to do chest in almost 5 months or so it seems )

Workout:
- I cannot tell you exactly what my workout was because I didnt have my LOG book with me, but it was pretty good.

Pumps:
- My pumps were very good. This is my first day on the stack and I've noticed increased pumps as to before the stack. My chest was very pumped and had some nice vascularity in it.
Strength:
- I was not going for strength today, but didnt feel like a beast either. This was mainly due to just being tired from shot-put practice. I wasnt expecting to be strong as it was my first day of chest in a very long time.
Endurance:
- I didnt really notice any increase in endurance

TUESDAY:

Workout:
-Triceps and Abs

Tricep Pushdowns (warm-up)
- 3 sets of 110
Incline Close-Grip (tricep) Presses:
Note: I bring weight down half way so I dont involve chest, keep elbows at sides.
- 15 x 135, 10 x 155, 10 x 185, 15 x 135
E-Z Bar Over-Head Extensions: (slow 30 sec sets )
- 12 x 85, 10 x 85, 10 x 85 ( 5 forced )
Incline Rope Extensions:
- 20 x 110, 15 x 110, 10 x 95
(Super set) Rope pushdowns + Reverse Grip pushdowns
- 12 x 100-15 x 80, 10 x 95- 12 x 80, 10 x 95-12 x 60 ( 8 forced )

Pumps:
- I had great pumps in the tri's! Very full and hard.
Strength:
- No real strength increase was noticed
Endurance:
- Endurance was a little higher than normal.

Notes: I noticed that my workout was pretty intense, and my muscles were tri's were feeling very hard throughout my session

On board. As you know, we don't suggest RR before age 21, so be smart and assess for sides. :)

No sides as of yet. I actually have a sense of well being..... maybe just a good day??

uhockey

Nah. Not everyone gets sides, either, just a warning. :)

The mood elevation can be felt as early as the first day, actually, which is a definite benefit.

Wednesday:
- Legs and back with a touch of bi's

Weight:

- Today was a very good day except for the damn rain. Cant throw metal balls in the rain ( shot-put ). Anyway, I was feeling a little more aggressive than usual and I liked it. I also noticed that my back was a little more oily than usual. Muscles are actually more full at all times especially my chest. My tri's are actually sore.... and they havent been sore in a long while. It twas a good day.

Workout: ( legs were light weight compared to normal because I have a track meet. )

#'s x reps

- 135 x 20, 225 x 12, 315 x 10, 405 x 5
One legged Extensions: ( fast positive hold/flex for 2 sec, slow negative )

Pumps:

- Well, Pumps were better than yesterday! My lats were pumped and hard. After doing DB rows, my bi's were pumped pretty good. I was impressed.

Strength:
- My strength was pretty good for a light day. I could have handled 225+ on BBell rows, but didnt want to be terribly sore.

Endurance:
- Endurance was pretty good. I was recovering from sets pretty fast, as well as pumping out a good volume of reps.

Notes: I was sweating profusely!!!! Seriously had a puddle of water around me while doing DB rows!

Awesome workout and impressive volume for the weights. I'm really looking forward to watching this log progress.

If you don't mind, what's the diet like?

J2jud
05-03-2007, 09:37 AM
Well, my diet is a very high protein and a moderate amount of carbs and fat...

Looks something like: 50% protein, 30-35% Carbs, 20% Fat or so.

-Morning: Bowl of Oats, cup of milk, Protein shake-63g
-Lunch: Some type of meat usually chicken, whole wheat bread, cheese
-Snack: Protein Shake-63g, Some type of carbs.
-Dinner: Chicken or Steak, sometimes a lean paninie with chicken and banana bread.
-Post-Workout: Protein Shake-63g, Rice Cakes. Sometimes i'll throw in another shake 20-30 minutes after that.
-Bedtime Meal: protein shake-42g, and sometimes add a cup of milk.

Throughout the day I consume 6-8g of CLA ( 2 grams per meal ). I also sometimes get some added BCAA's from ICE if I feel like it. I try to eat about 5000-6000 calories in throughout the day.... sometimes it's just not possible.

Thursday:
Day off, due to Track meet tomorrow and Saturday ( shot-put, discus ).

Notes: Since starting the stack I've had to pee alot more than usual. Im not sure if it's due to the NHA Stack or Cissus. I'll wake up in the middle of the night with a piss wood.... sorry bout that. I think the "Alpha Male" syndrome is coming out, because I lashed out at some a$$hole last night that came pounding on my quad door at 1:00am!!!!! I dont think he'll come back that late ever again. Anyway, im very pleased with my stack so far!

My muscles have been hardening up throughout the day, which is pretty nice. My forearms have become more vascular as well. Libido is still higher than normal, which is nice because I thought that it would go down eventually.

I must also thank the wonderful Cissus that has made it possible to lift chest again. My shoulder has been injured for 4 months and has never stopped hurting until I started taking Cissus. For me it's amazing and im glad I bought it..... or id probably still be in pain!

Diet:
- Protein 326g

Yeah, I've been taking the stack like normal. I just want to get into the gym as fast as possible! I cant wait till monday. I'll finally be out of school and back home for the summer. I plan on taking my weight up to 260 or so. I just hope that I get there.

Good luck with that! I might be running the NHA stack for 4 weeks following my current stack. I'll be following!

Also, I ordered the bulk cissus from a certain... planet. It comes in early next week, I'll let you know how it works out. Thanks for the tip!

Ok, tonight I'll post my amazing..... ly bad@$$ workout. The only thing I was disappointed with were my energy levels. It was pretty much below par for me. I think it might be due to the fact that my workout was at 9:00am, instead of 7:30pm. Im not really used to going in the morning, but I had things to do.

Oh, Uhockey I got a friggen "A" in my chem class, and finished with a 3.91 gpa. for my second year! I just have to kinda gloat about that.... FEELS GOOD!!!!

Monday:
Chest and Tri's[/b]

Weight:
- Not sure

Thoughts:
- I was very happy that I could get through my chest workout with zero pain. I thank you Cissus!! Im still not able to do any parallel bar dips and or bench dips which sucks, because it's my favorite triceps exercise! I was a little annoyed that I got tired halfway through my chest workout, never had that happen to me before. I was pretty much dead for tri's but stuck it out. I think the energy drag was from waking up 1hr 30min before working out. I usually eat a nice protein and carb filled meal 2 hrs before my workout. After I completed chest I was dead and had to push through my tricep workout without any strength or energy.

Chest:
Bench press
- 135 x 20, 225 x 10, 225 x 10, 225 x 12
Super Set DB bench press & DB flys
- 60 x 10 and 30 x 12, 60 x 10 and 30 x 10, 60 x 9 and 30 x 8+2
Incline DB Press
- 70 x 10, 70 x 8.... this is where I died and said no more!!
Tri's:
Tricep pushdowns
- 110 x 12, 100 x 10
Close-grip incline tricep pushes
- 135 x 10, 135 x 8, 135 x 6+2
E-Z Bar Over-head Extensions
- 70 x 12, 70 x 12, 70 x 10
Over-head Rope Extensions
- 100 x 12, 120 x 10, 130 x 10
Double DB over-head extensions ( with twist )
- 15 x 15, 20 x 12, 25 x 10
One handed reverse grip pushdowns
- 10 x 30, 10 x 30, 10 x 30

Pumps
- The pumps were ok. My chest was very pumped and hard. Triceps, were not as pumped. I think it was due to being so tired.

Strength
- Strength was not all that great. I was impressed with the amount of reps that I got so easily on bench press, since I have been out of chest commission for a while.

Endurane
- was not there today.

Well, Uhockey...... I think that would be incredibly nice of you. Your right about my pumps, they suck! I would be honored to log it for ya.

Today I worked my bi's and legs. Sadly the pump was not that strong. My legs on the other hand were nice and pumped. Had good fullness and a little vascularity. I'll post the workout later.

Uhockey, before you were accepted to med school, what was your major? Do any leadership positions in any clubs/ organizations? Im going to try and get into Optometry school in 2 more years. I've talked to the Dean of acceptance and he seemed like he really wanted me to get in the program.

uhockey

There is no doubt that being in clubs and such helps. For many, it is their ticket in. But I personally am not the traditional type of medical student though.

I majored in biology and graduated with my BS, cum laude, with honors in the liberal arts. The only organizations I was in were NSCS, Golden Key, and my hockey team, and although I was assitant captain of my team, I held no other "offices." During summers I participated in a research in Limnology and Icthyology, because they interested me. Even in medical school, I've been pretty non-traditional. I did the AMA and National Geriatrics Society, but otherwise I tended to avoid clubs and organizations.

In my opinion, two things matter WAY more than being in 100 clubs: Test scores, and ability to nail an interview. I'm not trying to brag, but I am good at both, and both facilitated my entry into the next level of education. With regard to residency, beign very interested and intersting with a good bedside manner (believe it or not) made a big difference as well.

The admissions committee sees 1000s of students and all of them are in a bunch of organizations.......not everyone can back up their booksmarts though. :)

If you have any specific questions, let me know. And shoot me a PM with your name and mailing address.

Tuesday
Bi's and legs

Weight
- 229 ( was a different scale than im used to and was in the morning!)

Thoughts:
- I am sore as HELL today! My chest is burning constantly and tri's feel are to a lesser degree burning...... I like it! So I was excited to do arms, and it went alright. I have a dedicated workout partner that can push me, seems like forever since I've been pushed a good amount. I actually had a good meal 2 hours before my workout, consisting of 3 whole eggs, bagel and 2% milk. Then took a nap until I had to hit the gym... kinda lazy, but IT'S SUMMER!

Bi's
Standing DB curls:
- 20 x 18 E.A. ( warm-up ) 40 x 8 E.A., 50 x 6 E.A., 40 x 16 same time
Bent Bar Curls:
- 75 x 10, 95 x 8, 110 x 6, 100 x 8+2
Hammer Curls ( variate from simultaneously to both arms):
- 30 x 12, 30 x 10, 30 x 15
Triple Super Set ( cable preacher curls, reverse-grip bbell curls, superman curls):
- 12 reps on each exercise, then + 3 failure on superman, last set reverse the order and tried to get 8 reps on everything but superman..... killer!
Legs ( quick )
Leg Presses:
- 4 plates x 15, 8 plates x 10, 12 plates x 4
One Legged Extensions( hold flexed 2 sec each rep )
- 40 x 15, 70 x 20, 100 x 15
Leg Curls:
- 100 x 15, 120 x 10, 130 x 8

Pumps:
- Pump in the bi's was alright, nothing too spectacular. My workout partner noticed my pump, but it wasnt anything to grand. Legs however were very pumped/ striated and vascular... felt all stiff legged!

Strength:
- Bi's were not too full potential strength. I was able to do 60# DB's 6 each arm 3 weeks ago. But I speculate that my strength will return plus some! Legs were good, havent lost much strength there. I actually felt like I could have done more reps with 12 plates.

Endurance:
- Endurance was better than yesterday, but still a little pooped. I must say that I had to have some endurance to blast out that "Triple SuperSet."

THURSDAY:
Delts and Tri's

Weight:
- 229.5

Thoughts:
- Chest was still sore from monday. Guess it's from not being able to work my chest for so long. Im actually seeing some chest thickness developing. My arms are looking more full and harder as the week progresses. I have been consuming a very large surplus of calories this week and not all of it is that healthy. Im thinking of being a little more strict this next coming week to harden up, possibly cut some BF%. Im ordering a ton of CLA tonight from a certain planet. I actually see good results from taking about 6 - 12g per day. I guess I respond pretty well to it. Anyway, Im going to take some pictures on monday to gauge myself.

DELTS
Seated DB shoulder Press:
- 40x12, 50x10, 70x8, 80x6
Hinged Machine Press (E.A.):
- 95x5, 70x8, 70x6
DB Laterals (2 sec holds):
-30x10, 30x8, 30x8
Reverse Pec machine (light):
- 100x12, 120x10, 140x10
Light Upright Rows:
- 70x10, 10x12, 70x10
TRI'S
Tricep Push-downs
- 100x15
Seated E-Z Bar Tricep Press
- 70x10, 70x12
DB Tricep Extensions ( I used 2 DB's at the same time ):
- 25x10, 30x8, 35x6
Tricep Push-downs:
- 180x10, 200x10

FRIDAY
Back and Bi's

Weight:
- 230.5!!!! ( 9:15am )

BACK
Lat-Pulls:
- 120x12, 160x10, 200x8
Barbell Rows:
- 135x10, 185x8, 185x8
DB-Rows:
-105x10PR!, 110x8PR!, 115x8PR!!!!
Close-Grip Cable Rows:
- 200x10, 200x10, 200x8
BI's
Barbell Curls (slow):
- 75x10, 85x8, 85x8
DB Preacher Curls:
- 30x12, 30x10, 30x10
Superset Reverse BB curls + Superman curls:
- 45x16 & 20x12, 45x12 & 20x12, 45x12 & 20x15

Pumps:
- Pumps were getting better. This biceps wokout was nice. There was a little more pump that at the first of the week. It felt pretty good to have some pumps going on. Triceps were nice and full as well, but nothing was popping as I would like.

STRENGTH:
- Strength was great on triceps and back. Bi's and delts were ok, but not too bad. Atleast I PR'd for DB rows! At my other gym, the weights didnt go past 100's.... so it was kindof hard to PR except for reps. Triceps were really strong! I felt I could have handled much more weight but decided to not try and get into over-training.

ENDURANCE:
- Is getting better. Im thinking of adding in about 15min of High intensity cardio. Just not sure when to do it.

When should I add in my cardio to avoid using muscle as fuel?? I dont want to lose any mass, just try and keep the mid-section free of fat.

uhockey
05-20-2007, 02:35 AM
Post workout medium intensity seems ideal for decreasing fat gains, in my experience.

J2jud
05-20-2007, 11:05 AM
This monday I'll be doing about 15min of cardio after my workout. Hopefully im not a tired S.O.B. My chest is still sore! The funny thing is that it's feeling much thicker as the week progresses. Im going to drop the carb intake a little and take in about 50-100g more protein than right now. Im seeing some good anabolic effects thus far and want to try and maximize my gains.

My diet should look something like this:
Morning
- 3 whole eggs, 3 egg whites, 1/2 cup of milk, oats
After workout
- 3 scoops of whey with fast acting carbs ( 69g or protein per shake ).
Late Lunch
- A big sandwich ( whole grain bread ) OR Red Meat ( small steak or ground beef)
Snack
- (Large protein shake) OR (Tuna with whole grain bread) OR (Chicken and whole grain bread)
Dinner
- Red Meat and complex carbs ( sweet potato ) and milk
Bed Time
- 2 scoops Ultra Peptide in water (good SHAT)

Im shooting for something around 400g of protein a day. Hopefully I can be disciplined enought to accomplish this! I will throw in a small meal when needed to accomplish my goals if I can.

uhockey
05-21-2007, 02:23 AM
Perhaps shoot for a little more whole food.....otherwise I'd say the diet looks good.

J2jud
05-21-2007, 07:02 AM
Im just trying to fit in protein where I can. Im going to be working this week, and wish I could eat more whole foods. I was thinking of making a ton of chicken this week. I might be able to put it in a fridge at work or something.

Monday
Chest

Weight
- 230.25

Thoughts:
- I was still a little sore to start out on chest, but I pushed through it. I hate starting back up on chest!! It was my love for oh so long.... THEN MY SHOULDER TOOK IT AWAY FROM ME! DAMN YOU SHOULDER!!! Ok, now im done with my childish rant. Anyway, im still taking it light on the chest pressing, so it's not too impressive by my standards. As far as triceps... I feel stronger when I work them out the second time. By the time I got to close-grip T-cep presses I was so weak from doing my chest work and prior tricep work. I think I might have to do chest on it's own day and... I'll figure it out! Hopefully I can get my diet together because im going to THE BEACH! AAAAHH!!

Chest
Incline Bench Press:
- 135x15, 225x8, 225x8
DB Bench Press:
- 105x8, 105x8, 95x6, 95x6
Pec Deck:
- 200x12, 230x10, 260x10
Machine 1/2 presses:
- 12x95 E.A, 10x95 E.A, 8x95 E.A
Tri's
Tricep Pushdowns
- 100x12, 100x12
E-Z Bar Over-head T-cep Extensions:
- 85x10, 105x8, 70x10
Close-Grip Tri Presses:
- 135x12, 185x6, 155x10
DB Tricep Extensions ( I used 2 DB's at the same time ):
- 30x10, 35x8, 35x8
Reverse-Grip pulldowns:
- 30x12, 30x10, 30x10+3

PUMPS:
- Pumps on chest were mild. Pumps on bi's and forearms were pretty good. I always love the way that my forearms get so hard and vascular looking after a couple of sets. The bi's felt pretty good today, I loved how they were extremely hard during and after my workout.... now I wish my stomach did the same.

STRENGTH:
- Strength was alright on chest... didnt try to go heavy on inclines as I was having a little pain in the shoulder area... this really effected my DB benching:( Anyway, Im having increasingly good arm workouts! My strength has improved over the last week on bi's and tri's.

ENDURANCE:
- Endurance has improved alot. Im not as tired as I was last week, and my ability to jump into the next set is very good.

Glad to see that someone is following along with uhockey. Im really loving this stack. I feel great and would buy this stack again and again! I really cant wait till the new and improved ActivaTe comes out!..... but, we'll all just have to wait a little bit.

There are some sides to note. I've been having more dreams than usual, a little more acne on chest and back.... dont usually have pimples on chest, increased hunger, and increased muscle weight!! YES! Sorry bout that.... Now I just need to go and buy more whey.

Wednesday!
Legs/abs

Weight
- 231!!!!! (9:45am)

Thoughts:
- Im freaking excited that I weigh more today! However, I was not too enthused that I could not find my weight belt this morning.... PISS! My gym that I pay 45 friggen bucks a month dosent have one! Well, I substituted squats with Heavy leg presses and dead lifts. I didnt want to do deads on back day because my legs would be shot. After my last set of extensions I did light "one legged lunges" and that killed the legs... feels good. Anyway, Im getting my strength back and it's great. The NHA stack is one of the best stacks around, just sucks that it's gonna run out of stock with online stores after a while. Oh, im going to take pictures today "un-pumped."

Legs
Leg Presses:
- 12x4 plates, 10x6 plates, 10x8plates, 8x10 plates, 8x12plates P.R. (ugh!)
Dead Lifts:
- 135x10, 225x10, 315x8... second time to ever do deads!
One Legged Extensions (2sec holds):
- 70x12, 100x12, 100x15
One legged Lunges (30# E.A.)
- 12, 12, 12
Abs
3 sets of inclined sit-ups
4 sets of ball crunches
2 sets of leg lifts

PUMPS:
- Pumps in my legs were great. They had vascularity and fullness. I had that " I think im going to fall over" feeling when I was walking.

STRENGTH:
- Strength has improved on legs... Gotta get the legs just a little more powerfull, because im enetring a 747 Jet Pull on the 9th!

ENDURANCE:
- Rep strength has shot up, and im getting around the gym quicker with shorter rest periods.

The current NHA will be out for a bit, but look for ActivaTe Xtreme soon, and the new Rebound later. :)

And quit plugging the new ActivaTe Xtreme and Rebound products unless you plan on releasing them sooner, dammit!! Ain't that right, boys? ;)

Your SICK!!!! Just a sick MAN!!! (CRIES) LOL. Thanks for dropping by guys.

Last night I went to take my ActivaTe and set it on the counter..... took a drink of water and thought that I put that damn capsule in my mouth. So I woke uo this morning and looked at the counter and that damn blue pill was there.... PHECK! Kinda pissed me off! Anyway, I guess I was really out of it.

The blue capped formula is the last of the old stuff. Next run, assuming the sourcing of the final ingredient goes smoothly, will be Xtreme.

THURSDAY
Back/ Bi's

Weight:
- 232!

Thoughts:
- This was the best back and bi's day I have had in my LIFE! I felt soooo incredibly strong and focused. I really dont know why.... but I liked it. I felt ok going into the workout, but soon after my warm-ups I got extremely focused on the task at hand. Could have been that I've been going to bed at a decent time, or could be this amazing stack im on! When I was doing Bi's... I'll bet I could have done a shat load more weight... but Im getting there. Hopefully I can take pictures sometime soon.

PUMPS:
- Pumps were good on bi's, back was not all that great... but was a little. I was feeling pretty good about the pumps.

STRENGTH:
- Strength was great! The best back day I've ever had. I felt so strong on both bi's and back. When I was ready to do bi's, I was hitting them hard... but felt like I would have handled a little more weight. Anyway, looks like im growing, and the mirror dosent lie.

ENDURANCE:
- My endurance is great. I can hit the weights hard and still have energy to thrash more. I feel great even hitting my second body part on my split.

Maybe a stupid question, and probably already asked, but if Activate and RR are so great, then why change them? Serious question because I have read nothing but great reviews on the stack and I am starting it tomorrow.

Well, I think that DS, just wants to keep the products fresh, and improved upon. Nothing will be deminished, but made better. There have been a good amount of companies doing reformulations on their prized products... and has been for the better. Who knows, maybe DS will allow the distributors to have blow-out sales on ActivaTe and RR!!..... hopefully.

Anyway, I'll give an update tomorrow. My job has been very screwy with my hours. Hopefully things smooth out so I can have a life!

Because ActivaTe can be WAY better, and as for RR......we have something better, and more "natural" in mind. :)

MONDAY
Chest/ Delts

Weight
???

Thoughts:
- I was not very impressed with my chest workout on monday, as I was not used to being weak in bench presses. Anyway, my dad had to come with me because my workout partner wasnt going to be there. He pushes the $h!t out of me on my second damn set and im almost about done right there. DAMN YOU DAD! Shoulders felt pretty strong, even though I was still using light weight for shoulders. My dad insisted that I use lighter weight and more reps... oh well.

Back and bi's came around and I was feeling good about that. I felt strong on both back and bi's. Bi's strength suffered a little from doing heavy ass back lifts. More P.R's on back again and im happy about that!

Tri's. I only had time to do triceps this day because I had to get to work at 12, and it takes me almost 30 minutes to get there. Tri's were extremely strong today, as I had the strength to do some good weight on tricep presses. Over-all was a great workout.

Does dad lift, as well?

Dad used to lift. He's got some bad joints. When I was warming up with 135, he was like "lemme see if I can still press this pussy weight." LOL, such an ass! He pressed it for about 15. He could probably press 250.
